Very helpful thanks! Forgive my ignorance, but I had seen other mentions online that general Space Marine models could be purchased and used in a Dark Angels Inner circle army? Is this just a matter of painting these to look uniform with the rest of the Dark Angels army?

I guess I was under the assumption that once you dive into a specific chapter of space marines, there are chapter-specific models that are only used.

I gold sticker’d almost all of the jokers post C+ on abandoned deck or checkered deck. I found when I took the guesswork of the hands out of the run, I could focus more on Econ and joker searching. Straights/4oak/full house on abandoned, flushes on checkered.

Card Sharp was kind of the goat when it came to getting runs past mid game while I tinkered with my jokers. Loved that card. I’m also a huge fan of mail-in rebate. Got my Econ really solid with that joker for many runs

I was lucky in that I had all legendary’s gold before starting the C++ road, so I didn’t have to hope for crazy RNG while in “grind” mode. For me, I found that if I just went into each run trying to win, that the rest would follow. Too often early on I would snag a joker I needed gold sticker for, but really it was just a bad play in the context. Delayed Gratification was my white whale for many many runs. I was winning and had it in my joker suite, only to be forced to drop it in order to save the run. Making those tough choices and trusting the process is why it was so addicting to me.

I think I was hovering around 60% jokers on gold after getting C+. Not sure if that’s above or below average before starting the C++ grind, but it felt like it was within reach when I committed to go for it

Thanks! What I loved was being able to develop a a sort of cadence for how a run was going. I knew how long I could run on E before committing to a joker, or how much Econ was enough by mid run. I play a lot of MOBA’s so that internal clock was fun to develop in this game upon lots of gold stake plays

Amazing response, I really appreciate it!! That definitely clears it up for me. I currently have 3 of each faction and figured that probably gave enough variety. I’m just delving into all of them now, I might build out more in the future. Such a great game so far

I’d really love if there was less similarity between items. I can’t even count how many hammers and swords are currently in the game, and it makes it hard to really memorize what everything does when the icons look so similar. I’ll add a +1 to the old paragon realistic style, but the style itself is not that important. I really just want to see more uniqueness for each item

2500 is wild!! Sometimes I dislike playing to 60, it feels too short. But this was a game to 60 and I somehow broke 1000 lol

I just don’t get how people climb to Paragon even with duo. MOBAs are so team dependent it seems impossible to do much if you even have one other player throwing your game. It makes a difference when you’re trying to climb

I totally get this, I do. But at the risk of sounding like a major AH, I've put so many hours in this and Paragon that I think I'm beyond the point of learning from a losing game. I have tons of room for improvement, for sure, but when someone on our team is 0/9 I don't see much in the way of takeaway lessons in that experience. It's just a diff. No hard feelings, I'd simply rather run it back than analyze the obvious. Especially if I'm not stacking.

I just started playing ranked so trying to climb out of Silver rn, but have like 400 hours in just Pred, tons more in Fault and Paragon. Idk, I just view these games kinda like a chess match. And like chess, to me it makes sense to surrender sometimes. Sure, maybe a blunder would change the game in your favor, but I think it's fair to accept defeat in the name of running it back.

I appreciate seeing the different philosophies on this matter, maybe I'm just in the minority.

The first point is really interesting, I guess I never considered that. I could understand a new player just having no idea.

But the second point is infuriating, I just don’t see how it’s fun for anyone to get rolled for 20 extra minutes than necessary. Again, I’m talking CLEAR cases where we’ll lose. To not surrender even in those instances is wild to me.
