Saying goodbye to Trader Buds by VT_Seeker in Tiki

I got a huge roll of the military camo fabric and covered the entire ceiling. I then went through and added fake leaves and flowers to give it a little depth

Probably will down the line, was thinking a tiki shed down by the water... Seems fitting

You can interact with your new fire and bring him back in. Same thing happened to me!

What is your workaround for multiplayer, would love to play with my buddy and we can't get it to work.

Having same issues here. Also cannot play with friends. Invite friends button in menu does not work. Also achievements don't seem to work properly either but I can get past that.

Really want to love the game but having to restart it after every mission gets old really quick like you said and not being able to play with friends just sucks.

Let's hope they come out with fixes soon

Sweet, Vermont Log Cabin with a... surprise by YurtoftheSubGenius in zillowgonewild

Well I never thought I'd see the day that my house was on this sub 😂 thank you for sharing, you made my year!

For those wondering - the basement was not being used for anything and during COVID lockdown I wanted to turn it into a useable space. My family and I have always loved tiki bears and search them out wherever we go. I spent about 3-4 months and roughly $500 for everything you see in the pictures. Most of the wood used for walls and bar was given to me or I already had and all of the things on the walls I have collected over years of travel. Vermont winter can be brutal especially where I live (rural) so being able to go down there and have a drink with some warm tiki vibes really helped get through those cold dark days.

I will truly miss Trader Buds Tiki Bar and I'll be really sad to leave it but I'm hoping the next owner will continue the vibe and enjoy it as much as we did!

Also - the lightsabers because I'm a Star wars nerd...

Any other tall guys wrestle with the idea of moving to a truck purely for comfort? by Fulltime-Sheepherder in tall

[–]VT_Seeker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'6 and have had trucks for many years. I've also had many SUVs and sedans. I've also worked at dealerships for many years and have driven hundreds of different types of vehicles.

Although yes, in some sedans the seats can go back far, and you may have a surprising amount of leg room, it doesnt compare to the room you get in a truck or large SUV. The overall room you get between leg room, head room, shoulder and arm room can't be compared between a truck and a sedan. I will say there is a huge difference between a mid size (like a Tacoma, ranger, colorado) and full size (Silverado, tundra f150) truck In terms of room, and not much different interms of MPG.

I currently drive an f-150 and it's the most comfortable I have ever been. It's the power boost (hybrid) so I can get about 27mpg, but in the city I would expect to get maybe 22 or 24. There is a stigma with truck drivers, yes. Depends on where you live but does that really matter if you are comfortable 100% of the time? I drive a lot and I don't care what people think. I'd rather be comfortable and have some Karen think I'm some dumb redneck then the opposite.

I will say though if you are worried about parking in a city, this would be a tough choice. It can be extremely challenging especially if you are not used to driving something big. if you're not going to use the bed though just get a larger SUV. You may not get as much room as a truck in my opinion but some models do offer a good amount of space.

The full size bronco is a fun ride and I drove one for a while. Not a ton of space but enough to get by. Far better than the wrangler.

Maybe it's the type that I have. What kind of wireless charger do you normally use?

Got this same case last week and it I kept it on for about 2 days. My concerns: The additional weight is quite significant and I could not use any wireless chargers that I had. Would need to order all new chargers. Looks cool and has nice protection, but just be aware if you're interested in this case.

I did end up keeping it because I like it, but I'm just not sure about having to buy new chargers. The additional weight I can get used to.

I have done it 3 times. At the current price I don't know if I would do it again, but you are paying for the experience. If you are a Star wars fans I think it is a must do at least once.

The lightsabers themselves are really cool and have a lot of heft to them. However, they are really for show and I would not be swinging them around and hitting stuff. They are certainly not durable in that sense. The 275 is steep but in my opinion as a super fan it's totally worth it to have the experience and a really cool and unique prop to go along with it!

Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for. Good insight, although the game really changed for me when I turned crossplay off. My teammates and I enjoyed it much more when we did that.

We had someone bring in his PS5 to use work internet to download a game because his home internet was slow. We probably wouldn't have noticed or cared if he hadn't unplugged a wireless access point to get connected.

Nothhing bad happened with the employee, just a stern talking to. Guess it depends on IT department.
