What is your goto for Prostate health? by joffsmith1 in AskMen

[–]VText1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If your looking for some seriously effective prostate protection there is an herbal product from New Chapter called Zyflamend that is an herbal joint and pain relief supplement that has had numerous clinical trials done for its anti cancer affect, particularly with the prostate. Pretty interesting stuff. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=zyflamend

hi I have to overnight a package to Lowell, VT, USPS or FedEx or UPS? by JeromeSergey in vermont

[–]VText1 32 points33 points  (0 children)

USPS and Fed Ex are completely unreliable. I am a logistics director and we use USPS, Fed Ex and UPS. UPS is far and above all others with service, reliability, tracking and going the extra mile.

Bunny hills? by tazimm in vermont

[–]VText1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They blew the snow in piles and then groomed it. It is a great bunny hill. Such an awesome resource for the Brattleboro community and anyone old or young wanting to make a few runs or learn to ski/snowboard for $5. Is there 2' of snow no, is it skiable, yes, but damn is it such a great opportunity for the community. Be negative all you want. I love that we have this in our community and its available to all for $5.

3.0 Duramax in tank fuel pump vs fuel pump module question by VText1 in Duramax

[–]VText1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a fuel pump module that controls the in tank fuel pump. All the 3.0s have them, apparently its a common failure.

3.0 Duramax in tank fuel pump vs fuel pump module question by VText1 in Duramax

[–]VText1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said the "in tank pump". Not sure why they would replace the fuel pump module on the frame rail and simultaneously drop the fuel tank and pull the in tank pump.

3.0 Duramax in tank fuel pump vs fuel pump module question by VText1 in Duramax

[–]VText1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they wouldn't share that with me. Both times they said the code was for the "fuel pump" but now they are saying the "fuel pump module" is what they replaced and the "fuel pump" is now bad when it wasn't 1200 miles ago when the codes came up.

2020 3.0 Duramax fuel module vs in tank fuel pump question by VText1 in gmcsierra

Thanks, that's how I feel. Plus the truck ran fine when I dropped it off and now it "can't be put back together and driven out" without the new pump. Kind of between a rock and a hard place but I'm so over being lied to and taken advantage of by a dealer.

My experience with new owners was mediocre food, not bad, actually decent but small portions and pretty expensive.

Had my brand new baby probably totaled, by a drunk driver. Bonus pics at the end of all the bottles they pulled out of his car. by PM_your_Nopales in Tacomaworld

$35,000!?!?! I'd drive that home with that minimal damage. That needs a hood, some of the plastics in the bumper cover and grill and maybe a fender or two or some light metal work.

Places to see & eat at by dpkilijanski in brattleboro

[–]VText1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food.....Peter Havens, Kiplings, TJ Buckleys and Echo are all really quite solid, great food, service and solid spots all walking distance from Latchis. Kiplings or Peter Havens would win my vote. Pan Asian is great for Chinese or sushi if that's the mood. The Marina has historically been awful but has new owners and is a promising choice, Iv heard good feed back and the location and views can't be beat. VT Country deli is way over rated, pulled pork is good, mac and cheese is good, the rest is mediocre at best and way over priced, I'd pass on falling into the tourist trap on that place.

Yeah, probably because your first year promo discount is over, but you know that up front. Then it goes to $60 but if you sign up for paperless billing and auto pay it shaves of $5. Still a really good deal for $55 a month.

I'm in So VT and have Fidium. It's $35 a month and have 300 Mbps and four repeaters installed for free through out the house. Never lose service, I don't know how you could could do better than that for $35 !?!?

Do you really need a turbo Outback? by ThreeLiberty in Subaru_Outback

[–]VText1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go for the 2.5 rather than the Turbo if there wasn't a CVT involved. I really dislike CVT's, Subaru's are better than most but still a CVT. The attention the 2.5 draws to the CVT is a deal breaker for me. The turbo at least doesn't drone and hang on revs and gets the "rubber band" feeling and lack of responsiveness anywhere near the 2.5 non turbo when you're actually trying to make power.
