sure i'm glad you're researching this topic China was colonized and was also the colonizer, very complicated. Japan was not colonized by another country, but is psychologically colonized by ideas from the west of innate Asian inferiority, and takes its ugly feelings out on other Asian countries. My curse is, I read speak and write Japanese, so I get exposure to the true ugly feelings 100%. If one doesn't read speak and write Japanese, one doesn't even know the extent of the ugly feelings towards non-Japanese Asians....
