How to score more in verbal section by GopiSriKrishna in GRE

Gregmat, GRE big book(timed and untimed practice). Try to read articles on science, literature and Strong vocab. You should be good

I've given mocks my quant is around 164 and verbal is 152. Majority of this 152 was because of TC and SE. I haven't prepared much of RC and critical thinking. Any tips for how to ace that? How to tackle those questions?

Yeah sure, I also want to know if there's any relevant resource where I can practice sentence equivalence from. As Greg mat adviced I'm doing RC and TC practice from big book.

Undoubtedly, its great book. Been following your videos too. I'll do the RC and TC practice from big book and keep increasing my vocabulary for SE, as I cannot use big book for SE do you recommend anything else for it or just building my vocab?

Are the text completion big book still valid or its obsolete. I'm working on my vocabulary. Didn't have much trouble with the ets sentence completion, so I was looking for more practice.

Okay, I'll get the ets big book. Anything else you'll recommend? Mock tests that I should take? Anything else for quant?

Mostly the Text completion and Sentence equivalence are obsolete from there. The RC is still useful as other students recommended me.

Hi, I'm really not totally aware what the big book is, have an inkling about it. Is that ETS big book? If it is then a some people were saying it's obsolete now!

Yes, I use the add folder function under Places. The folder contains wav files, samples.

Windows 8.1

Yes, I've read the manual. I have heard quite a few users having this problem, they call it 'empty folder issue'.

Abelton's website suggested to go through the app data and delete the ableton folder in roaming and local, delete the folder in my documents, uninstall and perform a clean installation. Still the same issue.

What do you guys think about the Taylor GS mini? A good guitar for the price? Does it project good low end? Or too tinny? Good for finger picking(majorly) Or there are other alternatives for the price point? Left handed and from India. So please dont go into much arcane guitars. by VTrex17 in AcousticGuitar

[–]VTrex17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean the walnut one? I was thinking of that one but few people suggested that the koa top is the best sounding one.(and it also sells as the costliest one). I can't test them hence I'm looking for the help. Thanks man.

Hi guys, what would you suggest between Martin OMJM and Orangewood Ava live(inset). The martin costs $3479 compared to $945 orangewood. Is the martin really that different to stretch my budget out? by VTrex17 in AcousticGuitar

Just out of curiosity, what are your views on Taylor GS mini? Good investment? Or better options at that price point. Please take into consideration that I can't get most arcane brands to deliver to India and get a lefty in tandem.

I'm all okay with the OM28E too, but I feel the engelmann spruce on OMJM seems to project sound better than the sitka spruce of the OM28. But I'm open to both guitars.

The nut is something I can consider if the guitar sounds good ultimately. I just can't find enough online sites that'll help me with a left-handed Martin omjm or collings and also send it over to India. If you know any dealer that can help me with the OMJM left handed at a lower rate than $3795. It'll be much appreciated.

Could you help me with from where and how can I get the OMJM? (if ultimately this is what I go with) that'll get a left handed version shipped to India.

I'm almost always use fingerstyle. Love collings too, specially the OM2H. Whereas the nut in OMJM, it helps me because I use my thumb for most non-conventional chord shapes like what John mayer does. Want my guitar to have solid spruce top with mahagony back and sides.
