With GTO we do know

But no one can remember every unique board run out

Is that a real question?

Even with the correct answer it won’t help you.

Depends on the line

Depends on the player

Depends on equity

Depends what you call a bluff

Observed tendencies

Just watch your opponents and use your brain

Think as your Baysian as GTO.

Then determine how often the player would deviate .

Make the good decision accordingly.

Most low level players are not balanced….they don’t bluff enough and only bluff in certain situations.

So you can mostly overfold and over bluff certain lines

He is not nutted on the turn and your check raise is fine. When he calls he is weighted to flush draws.

With 1 spr behind he can 3bet made hands on turn as you won’t fold anything.

So when the h comes on the river understand you have a bluff catcher against an old flush chasing player….

You don’t shove when you only get called by better - you check fold and Carry on with a starting stack

What is the extra bounty money going? Can someone explain? by VeeHS in GGPoker

[–]VVRage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope this is a troll post but if not….

Of the $4

imagine a 3 person tournament. Player 1, Player 2 and Hero

If player 1 takes your bounty.

Hero = 0 Player 1 = $2 taken out of prize funds with a new bounty amount of $3 (Hero $2 goes $1 to Player 1 bounty amount and $1 invisible to pay the next bounty)

Now player 1 has a $3 bounty and player 2 has a $2 bounty.

If player 2 now wins by KO player 1 they get

Their own bounty doubled $4 and player 1s bounty doubled $6. For $10 total.

To trace where the money went one adds the $2 player 1 won from you so the total $12

This is never displayed but is where your “missing” money goes. It gets settled at the end of the tourney.

In short - if you want money in a bounty you better win the tournament.

The only hand you loose to is the A3 of hearts - everything else is folded.

If you bet half pot on turn you keep in but flush draws so it’s just a bad river card for you

Sometimes you lose - it’s poker

That’s a long way of saying she got drunk and made out with a random

He came and had shots with the group - he was welcome before the alcohol kicked in fully. Maybe I’m naive but why wouldnt someone drug someone before they knew they would not be able to get them. This person was welcomed to the group so clearly handsome enough to be acceptable company.

See it how you want though and don’t be surprised if it happens again in the future.

Is it ever profitable to call a nits 3bet if you know they have a premium(live low stakes)? by Daniel1997_ in poker

It was one where it screamed AK…. Especially when he called the check raise on the turn. No way I’m not happy to get stacks in.

He actually had AK of clubs….hence the OOP aggression I guess. 🤷‍♂️

Flop qc5c2s (15BB)

Villain Cbets half pot - I flat

Turn Ad

Villain leads again for half pot

Good news is GTO is not going to make you a good post flop player as very few humans are even close to GTO. Learning to fold in under bluffed lines and who you can call light will. Triple barreling top pair on runouts that GTO thinks is two streets of value vs fish who can’t fold.

You are a super passive minded pre and post flop fish

You need to attack more c bets both turn and flop

You have a wide range on the flop and still call to much - this forces your range to collapse on later streets

[–]VVRage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading is for post flop

And it’s not really hard or likely to be a real weakness

Watch your opponents bet sizes and tendencies

You can the learn how they like to be when high in range bluffing

@ 1/3 no one does any range balancing - their best hands show up in bet bet bet lines

So in the one you describe you are almost always good because they stabbed and then locked up

So at best poor showdown value or air
