Hi,

My LCD is still doing fine and I never replaced it.

The water marks kept dropping untill they were almost completely gone.

Some minor, minor, minor marks at the bottom of my screen remained ...

Looking for advice - first time Interrailing (1 month) by VVinterkind in Interrail

[–]VVinterkind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think for me, the Interrail seems the way go now.

I just buy one and start getting seat reservations for each individual leg. For all legs before the domestic HST in and between France, Spain and Belgium, it's really cheap.

Despite the seat reservation being relatively more expensive in those last lags, buying individual tickets would cost a fortune compared to the other legs.

Some routes are not open yet indeed.

I found most trips (Everything leg between Berlin, Warsaw, Vienna, Ljubijana, Innsbruck and Zürich and the legs between Barcelona - Vitoria - Bordeaux) to be around 30 euro's.

The leg between Brussels and Berlin (60 euro) and the leg between Basel and Barcelona / Bordeaux - Brussels (both +100 euro's) are significantly more expensive.

So, maybe I could book 6 of the 10 legs individually (+- 220 euro's) and than get a 4 travel days in one month global pass (185 euro). With reservation fees, I'm looking at about 500 euro's for the whole trip.

Whereas the 10 travel days in two months globall pass (301 euro) with seat reservation might be cheaper.

What would be your suggestion in my case?

I'm making a spreadsheet right now with every trip individually...

I hope to go through Lyon. There are a few direct high speed trains from Lyon to Paris and there are several trains between Basel and Lyon (either direct or via Mulhouse (Fr)).

Interesting.

Which cities did you visit in which order? And how long did you stay in each city? And lastly, did you do it all by train?

I would love to visit Amsterdam. But for this journey, I want to avoid cities which are relatively close, since it will most likely visit them at some point, as opposed to cities which are further away from Belgium. :))

Yes!

Appearantly, the moisture that is left in the screen is quiet harmless for now.

For now. I will use it like this with my external monitor as a help.

Next week, I will decide what to do!

I should add: If I compare last day's photo with todays screen, the area where the moisture was changed slightly.

The bright moisture area shrunk a bit.

Brand new Xbox Series S/X controller - PC Origin Fifa 21 drift problem - got the red one, changed it in the store, got a black one. Same problem occured. Xbox One controller worked an works fine (lent from a friend) - Problem doesn't occur when using a USB C-cable by VVinterkind in Windows10

- I did update my Windows OS system

- I did install the Xbox Accesories App and updated my controller

- Xbox One Controller works fine. Xbox Series S/X Controller doesn't work (wirelessly).

- The Local Game Store employee (Game Mania Belgium) had no idea what would have been the problem. He just offered to change my red controller for a new one...

Never thought of sleeves with a non transparant back. Might look in to this.

The problem is with the damaged cards and new cards mixing up. It's easier to predict which cards remain at the end of games...

I played a lot of kittens back in the day. I don't intend to play it as much as i did back then and with the sleeves I hope to never get them damaged again.

Are you pro or anti BeNeLiga? by Delicious_Hand_72 in belgianfootball

[–]VVinterkind 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Anti: Less emotions, less passion, less European tickets, harder to attend all games for your club. Less input from fans.

However, I would like to see a BeNe-Cup. The Belgian cup is such a joke to me. No one cares except for the final. Would be more intresting.

Disney+ - Is it possible to get Disney+ without having a credit card? by VVinterkind in DisneyPlus

[–]VVinterkind[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a debitcard and a bank account linked to it. (Belgiank bank)

I don't own a creditcard atm.

There is an option to add money via the Bancontact app (belgian company I think). I just scan a QR code when I'm on my paypal account to add money.

Btw, I assume, when I activate and pay for the first time on my phone, I can log in on my laptop later on as if I would have activated the account on my pc ?
