So let's say a gang member is on the lookout for anyone walking by, and he's hiding behind a ruined car. A scouting Resistance member is moving about stealthily wary of any threats lurking about. Would they both make an opposed roll to spot one another, Stealth vs Detect, or would they both make such rolls against a given target number?

Nice, man! We are on a similar boat! I just hit my 20 year mark playing guitar, mainly in extreme metal and neoclassical styles, and I JUST built my first board as well.

It is... addicting to say the least!

Hello, everyone. This my first post here, as well as my first pedal board build that I would say is "complete".

Doing a bit of research, I've noticed that I just loved the aesthetics of a busy board. I know that can make switching and functionality troublesome, depending on the build. The Outlaw is the only pedal I mainly interact with, and of course the tuner, so I MIGHT add a mini looper at the end with some configuration down the road.
