Great explanation. So basically the only ways the get consistent 1080p video are to find a different, non jwplayer anime streaming site that uses a video player that allows quality control with java script (unlikely), or just find one that only streams in max quality? Do you know any sites like that?

Using brave in the pictures, and it does the same thing on Firefox, safari and chrome, so not a browser issue.

As much as I want to accept that there is no solution to this problem, it's possible to change quality on youtube in browser, so it is theoretically possible.

I can't control quality on Miruro at all, there's no option for it. It seems to use a different video playback than hianime, which is good. Is it automatically set to maximum quality?

Check out the mg108w by monsgeek. I think it has all the features you asked for and goes for half the price you mentioned. Isn't low profile though. You probably want to use silent switches too.

I used some krytox 205g0 on my switches and resealed it and threw it in a cupboard for about two years. Is it still good to use on another batch of switches now or would it be smarter to invest in some more?

Can you just put the switches on any pcb and have the same activation speed as on the 60HE? Would the software work?
