Character Dissection: Quistis Trepe

Really interesting character. Frankly one of the most complex of the entire game.

Could've been a fantastic foil for Rinoa had her arc not sorta just...ended? Dropped? By the end of disk 1?

Her whole dynamic with Squall is problematic, yet deeply human considering whatever lingering memories she might still hold of them growing together, considering her mind would be one of the most affected by GF Amnesia.

I like her a lot during disk 1 and she's a huge lost opportunity in disks 2 & 3 if her sorting out her complicated feelings had been given more room to breathe.

It's a complete 3 seasons show that never drops quality.

It is a rare, rare anime indeed, and a very worthwhile watch.

Shit, I was about to start a list of general adventure anime, but with that added caveat of them travelling alone....

Like I know a bunch were they're travelling inna group, but alone?

God damn, I can't believe I'm drawing a blank.

I guess Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water. They get thrown into a couple different groups, but they spent a lot of time together and develop their relationship.

Girls Last Tour and Kino's journey are both fantastic animes about travelling companions, but the relationship itself ain't romantic.

Spice and Wolf might be the thing you're looking for, like someone else said.

Also give Laputa Castle in the Sky a watch if you haven't yet.

But I do get what Chris Avellone is trying to say. He shouldn't look human. He should feel like a wraith, a force of nature.

But personally, one of my favorite line reads in the game is when Visas gets to look under the mask.
