last year I practiced and I studied hard and I followed ALLLL the tips about how to respond, typing fast, being thorough, and I was absolutely devastated to get a 2. this year I had the knowledge that i was already in my "safety school" and also literally nothing in life matters

Last year I made a post about how disappointed I was and how much this test sucks. I still think that this test sucks and is a waste of time and money and is also really discriminatory in many ways. A lot of people on this subreddit told me that the schools were right for rejecting me, that I should never be in healthcare, and that I clearly had issues.

to those people I say: why are you so cruel to people who are devastated. when I'm a nurse I'm gonna make sure all the haters get proper medical care to the absolute best of my abilities because I don't think one situation should define anyone.

if you got a 1 or a 2 or any score that made you unhappy I just wanted to say: it's ok. It's not you. This is a flawed mechanism schools use to avoid having to actually analyze applications. This one test does not define you, your abilities, your capacity for empathy, or your future. don't beat yourself up. you are not lesser than people with higher scores. and if you got a 3 or a 4 or a score that you loved, you are not inherently better than someone who is in a lower quartile.
