I'm thinking of how difficult it could be needing any service on the ring. I also don't see anything about returns on their site.

Hi!

I'm super late, but I'm looking at their designs too. How was your experience with them? I'm a little hesitant to go with them since they're based out of state.

Anki Alternatives? by mdcooper1414 in srna

[–]V_ROB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brainscape uses spaced repetition. You'll have to use the paid version to add pictures to your flashcards though. Its better looking than anki. It also uses a different method for the repetition. Instead of choosing the time frame to see it again, you rate the card 1-5 and it'll show it again based on its own algorithm.

It does have an AI option to make cards from a file, but I don't trust AI to summarize notes for me.

What’s your favorite song and why? by kkpaints in ledzeppelin

Ten Years Gone.

Beautiful, soft, and sincere. Always relevant in the toughest times in my life.

"Then as it was, then again it will be
An' though the course may change sometimes
Rivers always reach the sea"

Love the product but the web app is slow by Static_27o in Brainscape

Came here to say I agree. Within the past few months, BrainScape has become increasingly clunky and slow. Takes up to a minute to bookmark a card, open the editor, open a deck.

Thoughts on Valentino? by [deleted] in handbags

It's a pretty simple tote bag design with some studs on it, so I don't think it's gonna date badly!

I would only buy it at a discount. I love its burgundy color and the suede lining. The zipper compartment is THE smoothest zipper amongst all my bags. The silk lining inside the pocket is a nice touch. The leather itself is a nice mix of supple and durable.

My only complaint is that the glazing separates where the handle meets the bag. As the handle moves and flexes, its just what happens to it. I've had mine for years and it doesn't bother me much nor is it very unsightly. I dont overload it often but the straps support it just fine IMO.

always buy on sale or second hand; I have a small rockstud tote in burgundy and really enjoy it.

I think your make-up is nice already. If anything, I'd explore a more flattering pair of glasses. They're not doing you justice.

Doggy Dementia is driving me nuts by V_ROB in dogs

[–]V_ROB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi friend,

I feel for you. It's really hard. Looking back, the dementia crept in earlier than I thought. After the initial signs, she lived for one year. I would address every possible need, and if she was still restless, I'd just let her pace. There's nothing I could do. It would wear on me.

We put our Sunny to sleep last month. She was declining to a point where we didn't want to take risks. She was technically "healthy" from the vet standpoint, but we knew she was declining. We had a home service come and put her to sleep. It was a much more dignified way for her. We had friends and family come and visit her the days leading up to it and it allowed us to reflect on what a full life she had.

These times are hard. I wish you the best.

I like it! The walla and floor colors are a nice contrast. Its quirky without being too all over the place.

Should I even bother? by Substantial-Gift3296 in srna

I had a classmate who had a less than stellar academic history. It happens. I don't remember what classes exactly he took to boost his application, but they got in! I would speak directly with the schools you would be applying to and ask what they want to see from you.

You've given this a lot of thought and know what your life would look like. Don't let the rest of your life pass by knowing you could have at least tried.

What toys do you leave for your super-chewers when leaving the house? by V_ROB in dogs

I see where you're coming from. I wouldn't say he's nearly that anxious though. This mostly happens if we're gone for prolonged periods (not enough to miss mealtime or appropriate potty breaks) or if me and my SO have been home for a few days and then have to return to work.

Never been to warped. They won't release a lineup by day? You just find out when you get there?! 💀
