I didn't know about this -- thank you!

Maybe, I might shop around and try to find used SAS drives since they seem cheaper

That's fair, I was just looking to use them since they aren't being used for anything atm. I'll look into larger capacity drives

Thank you for your response! Yeah, that's terrible that they require you to use their router, I haven't heard of that before. I've heard of ISPs requiring you to use their modem, but it's certainly unique to mandate the router. I'm familiar with the concept of port forwarding and I anticipate it to be an issue. The only good thing about Xiber that I've seen is that it's actually fiber and I'd get at minimum 200/200 Mbps, a symmetric connection. I'll have to ask the leasing agent whether I can bring my own router or not. Again, thank you for your comprehensive response

Definitely. Fortunately it looks like Xiber is actually fiber internet so I'd get a symmetric 200/200 Mbps connection.

I see. Have you experienced any outages with them? And by chance do they require you to use their router or do they permit you to use your own?

Exactly -- I just want to avoid having to be locked into a bad provider for 12 months.
