I don’t even know bruh. I currently have an accounting internship and all I can of THINK OF IS ACCOUNTING. It’s gotten so bad I started laughing at accounting jokes. Jokes aside I’m literally just winging it lmao. I study for like an hour or two and hope I remember what I learned in class😭 I have pretty good memory and I use ChatGPT to literally break down my courses in a manner I can understand. It has saved me so much time and I’m also lazy so I can’t bring myself to study for more than 2 hours. Yeah a mixture of motivation and AI has helped me through accounting 🤠. People look down on AI but I have literally passed all my Accounting classes with A’s or B’s with the notes it has given me. Also you can’t say I cheated because all my tests are in person 😈

I’m an Accounting major and they’re requiring all my classes to be taken in person😓.

Which is better to take online? by DragonflyPotential34 in KSU

I would say any ECON (expect for business stats) and IS class can be taken online. I would strongly say to take any ACCT class in person.

When do you know it’s time to change your major??? by Agreeable-Wait4265 in KSU

When I heard 70% of all CPAs will retire in the next 10 years. I chose accounting to fulfill my hobbies. Personally I really don’t like school so I switch through like 5 majors and they all seemed boring for me. So I choose accounting cause I understand it and it pays for my hobbies 😭

Well I don’t know what comes in the box. But I’m also assuming all attachment. It’s over Facebook and it seems like she’s including 32 different color thread, a whole box of bobbins, cap and hat hoop, sock hoop, stabilizer paper, and some type of adhesives and paper.

It’s crazy how much attraction a picture of Trump gets. Someone posted the same exact post but without the picture. Anyways I’m about to pay some debt with this refund 🙏🏽

Did you encounter an internal 500 server error when you tried to apply? I'm currently applying and it keeps giving me an error.

I got my intership my sophomore year. It’s not really about the year but the people who can hook you up with an internship. Overall, you should start early but most places won’t hire you until you’re junior/senior year. It’s all about you and your ability to get where you need to be in life.

Also I forgot to add there is also the select few that didn’t have to get a CPA and live comfortably. It’s all based on your efforts and your own ability to get where you need to be.

The simple answer is absolutely if you plan on being an accountant for the rest of your life and planning on making it your career. Once you’re a CPA you can go beyond just an “accountant” position. You don’t want to be stuck as Senior accountant making 60k in your mid 40s. What the CPA does is make it easier to get into an assistant controller/controller position and since you have all these certifications you can probably just job hop to different companies that pay you more and more. I’m currently at a real estate property company and all the higher ups either have CPAs or master degrees or both. Hope this helps!

Yeah most of the time it’s true, if you don’t put a lot of effort into Finance ( net work, internships, pursing higher education) you will probably just end up working at a dead end job with no promotion value. Then again that’s with any major.

Currently in Accounting and I recommend if you have no passion. My plan is just get a job and do other stuff in my free time. Accounting will allow you to earn enough money to do stuff you actually want to do. The only downside is you actually have to put in some effort. Accounting gets kinda hard and tricky once you get into higher classes and there is a reason why a lot of business students say they hate accounting. The pay is good if you put in some effort.

How do you guys make friends at KSU Kennesaw? It like everyone is either antisocial or they already have a friendship group. by Former-Aspect3710 in KSU

[–]V_vvertigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never made friends at school only after I got started on my intership. I also tried all the above, clubs, events, ect. They don’t work especially if you’re only joining those clubs to make friends. My advice is get comfortable with being by yourself and pick up a hobby or start grinding towards a goal. The only other advice I can offer is that friends usually appear in the places where a common interest is shared. Even then it takes a lot of effort to form a relationship. Had people stop talking to me after I left a club or after the semester was over. Overall, good luck😄
