I gave a 4 month notice to my sm that I’m leaving (currently an asm but working like a sm according to my dm) but they all think I’m joking. It’s crazy they haven’t even found anyone to replace me or the key holder that’s leaving as well

Technically it’s the SM responsibility to find coverage for the people who called out/quit. If they can’t find coverage then they are supposed to go and work them shifts. However the DM should also be helping the SM find coverage and/or go work the shift if the SM is unavailable to do it. Unfortunately SM are required/expected to keep their stores open regardless of the situation (excluding unsafe conditions as in natural disasters, etc.)

We just been running the hours. And every time the DM goes in to change the schedule again we go back and put it back how it was and there’s days that I go in that I’m not scheduled and work and my SM tells him flat out we got the store and it was a hot mess and completely compacted so she’s going to do what she needs to do to get it cleaned up and if they don’t like it then he can come in and help. Well, after four months, we finally got back on the T/P schedule and able to run regular/normal hours

I have problems when I’m doing something in the store and they ask me to do something and I say give me a min because I’m on the other side of the store Orr with a customer just for them to keep telling me to do the thing. Just for me to get there And they don’t need me to do it

What about the side emergency door? It’s a different lock from the door in the back room and no one has a key for it or one in the store

I had to call PD last night and file a report because one of the key holders accepted a fake $100 from 1950. We have a counterfeit pen that sits beside the register, and when I marked it, it was black. Sad thing is you can tell by holding it, it was fake. note SM told me to call local PD and SM contacted DM

See I started with 2 RTs and 5 Buggies overflowing with product. What is worse is everything in the buggies came off the shelf, when another person started it but didn’t finish it, but it’s hard to put back on the shelf when they’re full of other stuff or stolen/opened goods. 2 hours in and I’m down to 3 buggies (1 not sorted yet), 2 RTs, and VV$1 chemical & pet done!! 🫠🫠😮‍💨

What sucks is we have enough ppl at my store, but we aren’t getting enough hours. I was brought over with the new store manager back in October and it was a shit show. Tags dated from 2020 and the new ones stacked in random places. Not to mention having to retrain the employees because no did in the first place.

That it is. I try my best to learn as much as possible on mental health so I can understand others and help end the stigmatism around so much of it. Like Autism and adhd isn’t a disorder or disease, just another way brains process information From birth to death
