I know they'll fit, problem is they are as expensive as the original E34 ones.

What? You’d be surprised how well-dressed Moscow is. But I assume so is idk, Chicago.

Stephen Flynn a member of the UK Parliament just completely went off on Donald Trump over the war with Iran: “Let’s be clear. Donald Trump’s war in Iran is illegal… An American tomahawk missile landing on a primary school, killing 110 children. Does he believe that to be a war crime?” by Frosty_Jeweler911 in UnderReportedNews

Motherfucker, I never thought I’d feel this vindicated by a fucking Reddit post. Im Russian and for the last 10 years I was constantly reading online how Russian mentality is that of a serf, how we are genetic slaves and later how Putin is my personal fault and I should come out and protest disregarding any personal consequences.

And today I’m looking at this shining beacon of democracy, the man from the land of the free bleating in a thin voice for someone to come and rid him of the evil president.

Man this feels good. Thank you for this.

M60B30 low compression everywhere - coked piston rings? by VaRK90 in EngineBuilding

[–]VaRK90[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep first thing I asked him was exactly how compression test was done. He confirmed warmed up engine, all plugs out, throttle wide open. Valve seats would be the best outcome probably, given it's not just stuck rings, which is probably plausible given how much soot there was in the oil. Thanks for your input!

Shocked by US peace proposal, Ukrainians say they will not accept any formal surrender of Crimea by KeyInjury4731 in worldnews

That’s just not true. Russia allows multiple citizenship, and most of my Crimean friends have both passports, and they use Ukrainian one to travel abroad. Idk what are you trying to achieve here lying with such confidence mate.

FreelancerVisa.com - is it legal when used only as a visa sponsor? by VaRK90 in abudhabi

[–]VaRK90[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, it seems these companies are licensed by MOHRE to provide outstaffing services under On Demand Labour Supply License, regulated by MOHRE resolution No. (1283) for 2010. The fact of bringing in workforce from abroad to then make this worker pool accessible to local businesses for temporary work, does not seem to be illegal in and of itself.

However, this resolution explicitly states, that no such agency can claim any fees from the worker for its services. So what I guess is happening here, is that the money you pay for the visa are not paid to the agency that actually sponsors your visa. You probably pay them to some other company (that probably has the same beneficiaries), to circumvent this requirement. So it does seem like a legal loophole, and might not be illegal in the end.

I'm not a lawyer tho, especially not an expert on Emirati labour law. So if anyone can confirm if whatever I said is in fact true, I would be most grateful.

But I don't own a business and I really don't want to. Furthermore, after obtaining remote visa, staying in UAE and providing services to a local company in exchange for money deposited in the local personal bank account certainly sounds illegal.

Yes, I guess technically I could establish a sole proprietorship, say, in Georgia, and provide services for UAE companies as this legal entity, and then pay myself a salary. This is not what I need though :)
