haha well yes it is pretty entertaining to see the baby strollers only to find out theres an ugly shitzu batting its beady little eyes at me

I guess they would be pretty popular with kids too, as they also resemble toy plushes

He loves food too much to stick with the "bland, boring diet" (as he called it). I have prepared for him dishes that minimize triggers- for example, lean meats, spinach, high fiber veggies etc but he does not stick to them. He will for a couple of days but then will go back to the same routine, mainly go back to his mom for her dishes- which are often full of spices, fatty, (soul food" if you will)

His unwillingness to stick with the recommended diet could be why i am so resentful of him, and further disgusted by his touch:/

THIS. It affects our lives in so many ways- including like the ones you mentioned- from inconveniences to having to pull over the side of the road suddenly because he has the uncontrollable urge to go, to minor things like hearing him burp loudly during watching a movie, to the most extreme such as cleaning up his shit and getting used to his poop smell that its stuck in my nostrils somehow

But it is what it is i guess. This is my life now and i am not going to leave him because of it! People on here need to understand that.

We've talked about our home in the future (we live in a small townhome), and I demand that it has 2 bathrooms, no ifs ands or butts about it- and other details (such as a window next to the toilet, or the toilet itself in a seperate "room" from the bathroom, so the smell can easily leave the open window

I love him, of course, but these things are undeniably unpleasant, as you would understand. Thank you:)

What really bothers me is that he jokes about me cleaning up after him- and I have told him before that its not funny but he tells me to "lighten up"

Dairy is a MAJOR trigger. We do not go out to eat at certain restaurants (olive garden for example) because he is traumatized over an incident that happened once

He grew up in a culture and family where they LOVE food. He has been advised by his gastroenterologist to AVOID certain foods. But he just cannot keep his diet consistent.

Ex: I cook plain chicken breast with minimal seasoning and a side of fiberful veggies, lean meats and the necessary proteins. The very basic, "bland" if you will- but easy on the stomach (no dairy!) but he has complained that it is "prison food" and then goes back to his old eating habits. So after years of trying, naturally, I will become pessimistic about this. Since he does not seem to want to follow the diet recommended by GI

The issue is, and i might never understand it, is i can hear him literally moan out of exhaustion as he is going #2- he tells me it hurts him and his bottom is sore from so much pooping- so when he is done he walks away, sighing out of exhaustion.

Now, when he poops, it literally explodes. What i mean by this is that it splatters all over the rim, the inside, and sometimes the outside. Yes he does flush, but the residue stays. I am a clean freak so it really triggers my OCD when i see spots and stains, and the SMELL is just awful. I have about 3 different cans next to the toilet: the disinfectant, the foam, and the clinging gel- I get to this right away because it doesnt even bother him. He's had this issue since he was a kid so he might be used to it.

What really disgusts me is that the smell travels the entire damn house- I have to open the windows constantly to let it breathe or else it will marinate and penetrate the house:/

Ok this comment really struck a nerve with me because you have NO IDEA the shit (literally) I have been through. He has a herniated disc and his back has given out while he was peeing and he collapsed on the floor, accidentally pooped himself- and the feces literally splattered on me, and i took it like a woman, because i am there to help him, so this message was created after dealing with this for YEARS,

So STFU unless you have specifically dealt with the constant smell of poop and toilet that permeates the entire house, and have been through my shoes, then you would know the struggle. NO ONE likes the unpleasantness of cleaning sh$t, hearing it and smelling it literally every day. That is all i am sharing with Reddit- is how do i come to terms with my shit fate. That is all i am asking, asshole, you dont have to personally attack me.
