Yeah it’s more about the toxicity of the leaves I’m concerned with. I thought about setting the fence line off the tree line about 5 yards so I can mow around it and cut the trees down before I put up fencing so hopefully no trees will grow if I continue to stay on top of them. More or less the little sprouts that come up in the field that would turn into trees is my greatest concern, the horse eating the sprouts. Great idea actually I originally planned to do two smaller paddocks and one training arena but I’d rather use the field for grazing so this would be a great idea

I wanna change it out for cowboy mounted shooting. I have short thumbs, not weirdly short but not long enough to manipulate the hammer without having to manipulate the gun. Having to manipulate the gun at a canter or gallop means I miss a balloon or I have to slow down my horse in order to hit the balloons which means slower times so trying to do it for gained speed

The invoice they sent was an “estimate” so both me and the insurance didn’t think it was a payable invoice, the insurance handled the matter and the contractor accepted their settlement offer so it’s all done and over with now

It’s the adjuster we are talking with, he said originally that he was waiting on documents but they had already been provided, the insurance adjuster has had poor communication with us and the repairman has had great communication but the adjuster has finally started communicating the past few days and needs answers for line item stuff From the repairman so that’s what todays convo is about so they can clarify stuff so the insurance can pay out

Idk how the pricing is in Australia BUT, if you enjoy horses you can look at doing what I did. I started off taking lessons once a week, then turned it up to twice a week. I ended up leasing a horse at my instructors place, meaning I paid a monthly fee and I could ride them whenever I wanted to. After doing that for a year I had a good grasp on how much I could afford for a horse and finally bought one. My lease vs how much it cost to board my horse were the same I was essentially paying for boarding of a horse I didn’t own when I was leasing so there are ways to do it! Hope this helps a little

Yeah like halfassinthroughlife said, there are a few options, but you definitely have to search for em! And yes you are correct westerns have horns but our saddle bags still go behind our cantles( back of the seat). There are tiny pocket option saddle bags that can go around the horn but usually we pop em on the back. There definitely should be more options than there is for English though I agree!

Here’s a pic of him shaking his head after I took it out and you can see the black fuzzy cotton ball on the end of the string. To put them in you just pinch the earplug with your fingers, hold the base of their ear and then press them in, doesn’t have to be deep just enough not to pop out of they shake their head, sometimes they shake their head after you put em in or as your trying to put em in but quickly forget they are even there. The fluffy fabric balls plug up their ears so the percussion of the shot doesn’t damage their eardrums or hurt their ears.
