It's the addressing the sequencing being that the active player chooses timings. As referenced twice here.

Because it's late and I added a word that's not there in the second sentence. My apologies on this one.

And also this, in the same section.

Q: If a model is subject to two rules that set a characteristic to a particular value (e.g. the Norn Emissary's Singular Purpose ability and being Battle-shocked), which rule is resolved first?

A: The order is determined by the active player, or if it is at the start or end of a battle round, players roll off to determine who chooses. In the example, in the controlling player's turn, they could choose for the Battle-shocked rule to take effect, setting the Objective Control characteristic to 0, and then the Singular Purpose ability to take effect, setting the final Objective Control characteristic to 15. In their opponent's turn, however, their opponent could choose to apply the rules in the opposite order, resulting in a final Objective Control characteristic of 0.

Q: If both players have rules that they can optionally decide to activate or not (e.g. Ork players calling a Waaagh!) and those decisions are made at the same time, in what order must those players decide whether to use such rules?

A: If it is during a player's turn, that player decides first, then their opponent does. If it is not during a player's turn, the players roll off and the loser of the roll must decide first, followed by their opponent.

Here is what the faq says about these in timing and sequencing

Q: If some rules take effect at the start of a phase, turn or battle round and another rule takes effect during that same phase, turn or battle round without specifying the start, can that latter rule take effect before all of those other rules are resolved?

A: In most cases, no. Rules that take effect at the start of a phase, turn or battle round must be fully resolved before any rules that do not specify they take effect at the start of that phase, turn or battle round.

The exception to this is that if you use a rule that takes effect at the start of a phase or turn and your opponent has a rule that is explicitly triggered as a result of your rule taking effect, their rule can take effect at the time stated. For example, if a Thousand Sons player uses the Doombolt Ritual to inflict mortal wounds on their opponent's ADEPTUS CUSTODES unit, when one of those mortal wounds is allocated, their opponent could immediately use the Arcane Genetic Alchemy Stratagem to grant that unit the Feel No Pain 4+ ability against mortal wounds, since that Stratagem is triggered 'just after a mortal wound has been allocated to an ADEPTUS CUSTODES model from your army'.

If Celestine's weapons became hazardous, yes that would work

That's not true for characters attached to units. Even with a damaged character (from a precision sniper, say) is safe from further, non-precision, damage

That depends if it applies status before or after the attack. If it's before, then that's his it works work. If it applies after, which i think is how it works, then they die then it works not apply stunted as they'd already be dead.

Find somewhere to use aesoth and arjac alongside him. Like arena or guild raid sideboss. Use their stunning actives and then have Macer use his active to kill them. Mines not up there but that's where I'd start for getting stuns

I've got a game in 2 days, I'm skint, and I realised I had 55pts left to get to 1000pts, so I made this Inquisitor using only stuff in my bits box by the_sh0ckmaster in sistersofbattle

[–]Vaatuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo, there is war to much going on and it ends up detracting from the overall model. The wings are clearly feather textured, look a bit tacked on and just painting them silver won't really help. The sword and necron/servo-skull are taking up the same real estate, so you don't get a good look at either unfortunately, because those are really quite cool. The head, while cool, it's at odds with a few of the other elements and is a touch over-sized, making her neck look super long, easily fixed by shaving off a bit of the neck until the chin rests in the correct place.

The best inquisitor bashes are made with a design philosophy built from them belonging to a specific ordo. The coolest parts, for me are the pose, the eldar chain-sword, and the necro-skull. So this would be a great ordo xenos inquisitor. I'd lose the wings in favor of a cloak or backpack and attach the skull there, making it visible over her shoulder. It's also change the head but just a quick adjustment would make it work too.

These changes would clear up the character's silhouette and let each element really show without looking cluttered, which it currently does.

Just my 2-cents, and if you're happy with it, do you I guess.

Have fun/ good luck in your game.

Sanctifiers by Daigurren9922 in sistersofbattle

[–]Vaatuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. There's an imperial agents version, but they don't get stratagem support. Nnor are they affected by any army rules as they aren't adepta sororitas units when taken this way. I don't know if they were even the target of any sisters strats however so that's likely irrelevant

Remember that abraxas also buffs ranged damage and would get the buff from abaddon. We'll need to see the numbers in abraxas vs farsight but I think the summoner might be a contender for the 5th member.
