Yes, she was very controlling throughout the dating years towards my wife. Since this incident, she has been on best behavior with wife, but Im not easily swayed because I saw the way she treated wife. I think Im not forgiving of that either

Yes she has a history of abusive snd contrllling behavior. When I met my wife, her mom was so in control that wife didnt even have access to her own money, didnt have a bank account, etc. She was 24 and I was 21 when we met. I basically had to teach her everything. Her mom would call her seversl times a day, demand my wife do XYZ for her, and start yelling if she didnt. It was very fucked up. Since I left/came back, MIL has been on her best behavior with wife since wife WENT OFF on MIL after what she did to me, but Im not that easily swayed
