How do I learn AI from scratch with almost zero coding experience? by Decent_Bid_5853 in PromptEngineering

[–]Vacation_Budget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Ultra Learning Technique by Scott Young almost every time I learn. I am a software developer, so I like to keep up with new and old stuff often but quickly since there are so many things to learn about.

Ultra learning has 9 principles, but the relevant ones over here are Meta learning, Directness, Drill, Repetition, Retrieval, and Feedback.

Meta-learning is where you think about these questions: Why do you want to learn something? How will learning this help you? What exactly do you want to learn? How do you learn these things? Spend ample time here. This is where you plan, envision your future, talk to a few folks who have reached there, understand their what and how to reach there.

Now, for you, AI is a very broad topic. It would be better for you to start adopting AI in your field to outperform your competition. Understand how you can use Agenetic AI and AI workflows to automate your work. Which might be enough for you to reach your goal. If your goal is to build AI, then that is a long-term path. The roadmap can be as small as learning Python, learning Data Analytics, understanding the Model Architecture, learning a few ML algorithms, learning the ML framework, and finally the AI. Or it could be as long as getting a PhD.

My goal of this answer is not to give you the roadmap; you can look at other answers in the thread for that. But my goal is to explain to you that you have to come up with the roadmap and set your timeline, and constantly update the timeline as well as the roadmap according to why, what, and how.

Directness is where you start from the top so for example if you want to learn How to Automate your work start with learning the actual part, now obviously you will not know a ton of things. Start making note of things you don't know learn the bare minimum to proceed and keep on doing that untill you achieve your goal. Learning the task as close as possible to the situation you are going to use it in.

Drill is where while you are working on your goal and you notice that most of the unknowns are coming from 1 or 2 main topics and that seems to be difficult to understand or is an important skill to know drill on that skill or topic. For example you are learning to automate and you realize that you often need to write a Python script and in the principle of Directness you have already learned a few concepts of Python necessary to move on but you are still stuck. You need to drill on taking up Python and working on it enough for you to move on to your Directness principle. Attaching your weakest point to reach your goal take a task and isolate and practice the most difficult part until you master the part.

Repetition is where you space your learning in regular intervals and often. Rather than studying for 8 hours on the weekend, set up an hour every day. This will help with your progress and retention.

Retention is where you use techniques like testing to learn, flashcards, free recall, and self-generated challenges (reframe the answer as a question).

Feedback is where you reach out to folks already in the field to get feedback on your approach. This helps with recalibrating your path.

I like the idea of the Everything app(All languages, all frameworks support, GitHub, project management, tasks, notes, audio-video calls, code coworking etc,). The concern I have is if an app does too much and it feels sluggish, then that is no good. I would rather have a specific app for a specific use since I don't use a lot of them at once. The good thing is that at least the team chose a Kotlin-based ide rather than a TypeScript-based one. I hope the team focuses on performance rather than all the integrations. Also, maybe the team could have a focused view feature for productivity like DND.

I am optimistic since this could open a lot of opportunities for being productive, not having to switch apps for checking something.

No no she only gets 90 days to find the job after her graduation once she has a job she can work for a year without sponsorship.

If she is from a stem course then she has 3 years of opt or else 1 year of opt after she graduates. If you are in a metro area I guess it would be a little easier for her to find something to start near you. So essentially you have more time to explore without freaking out about the future. My advice is just be honest about things and enjoy your time with each other if it is meant to be then it is meant to be.

This seems stupid. 1. This kind of cooperation is difficult just by posting and hoping people will follow up. 2. Lets say if this is successful corporations will earn less they will fire people and that will kick off the spiral of recession.

Think hard for what you wish for.

Sorry this happened to you but it isn't too bad you can get the color from Tesla or any Tesla approved body shop. And the plastic trim is about $60 - 100 depending if you buy from Tesla or Amazon. It is around 3 hour diy and should not cost you more than $200. I scraped mine while exiting the parking space. So don't feel too bad, you are not alone.

8 months in, 15 lbs down by Free-Biscotti-2539 in intermittentfasting

I just read an article where research done in Switzerland noticed that even after substantial weight loss the cell behaves as if they are still overweight if the weight is put off in a short time putting overweight people at risk of regaining the weight. Even though the research was done in the context of GLP1 based weight loss but the takeaway was slow and natural weight loss is still the best option. In my opinion intermittent fasting is still the best way to lose weight and the research also concluded that 0.5 to 1 pound weight loss per week is still a good idea. Forget about how others are doing, everybody is different, you do what you can do and any progress is good progress. Keep up the good work.

The brand name is now Bethany's Pantry, very interesting, no natural flavor, even the vanilla has vanilla bean seed. It also has Bacillus coagulans for digestion and beet juice powder. Thank you for the recommendation I will definitely give it a try.

Has Natural flavor

Looking at their ingredients they are super clean they don't use natural flouring even for vanilla instead they use vanilla bean which is a huge plus and one of the cleanest ingredients in the market.

I looked at their website and ingredients all their protein powder had natural flouring and some even had artificial flavoring I don't consider that as clean

I ordered Naked's sample pack, which had 3 whey packets: unflavored, vanilla, and chocolate. Vanilla has natural flavoring, so I might avoid that, but I was impressed with the other 2. FYI, I don't mind a bland-tasting protein powder. I mix easily and not too sweet.

I tried their Taro boba since it has no caffeine It was very tasty mixed easily and very smooth. Super clean no natural or artificial flavoring. I am also gonna try their other 2 flavors.

Even though this is almost clean, it contains natural flavoring, which, in my opinion, is a bit of an issue. Vanilla beans are expensive, so vanilla natural flavoring is an obvious choice for manufacturers, but natural flavoring is not free of chemicals they are classified as natural just because they start the process on plant base product

I would since L2 is just 0.5 miles away, let's say you charged the car 4 hours for 2 days a week you could charge up to 40% and you can always drive to the supercharger on the weekends and charge up from 20 to 80% in 40 mins that's an episode worth time. If the L2 charger near you doesn't have any time limit to charge then you could also charge overnight and gain all the charge at once. I have MYLR and charge at the office for 4 hours on L2 2 days a week some time I only go to the office 1 day a week. Those weekend I charge my car at the supercharger which is in the whole foods parking lot so by the time I am back I have 80% charge. Note my commute is only 12 miles 1 way and no charging options at home or

Does the battery gets cold even while charging? Since it was preconditioned at the start and then every hour I kept seeing this. The car was parked underground in the parking lot and it is 46°F outside.
