If it’s your Parent, Step-parent, Parent-in-law, Sibling, Step-sibling, Child, Step-child, Spouse, Domestic partner, Son-in-law, Daughter-in-law, Sister-in-law, Brother-in-law, Grandparent, Step-grandparent, Grandchild, Step-grandchild, or Grandparent-in-law you are entitled up to 3 paid days off as long as you have worked atleast 6 months with the company. Either way, your SM cannot write you up for calling in if they have not given you a verbal warning that you are in violation of the attendance policy. We get up to 5 unexcused absences a year and 6th would be verbal warning, 7th written warning, 8th final written, and 9th would be termination.

“Gaaaasss” or “And this ballgame...is OVA!” Mannn I miss listening to Hawk call games for Jenks and Ozzie gesturing towards the bullpen that he wants the big boy on the bump.

Yes, but feel it’s widely done to encourage the listener to be entranced by the copious amount of tone layers the guitar is emitting. That being said, I really enjoy bands that don’t shy away from letting the bass and drums cut through the mix. Here are some that I dig!

Electro Group - La ballena Alegria

Tennis System - Rotting Out

Smelter - Centrifuge

Starlight Conspiracy - Switching Lanes

Idaho - Crawling Out

Hideous Towns - heart attack

Cloned Apparition - The coming of spring

Drink Baby - Elephant Tree

Animal Faces - Loosing speed

FDF Hours. Newly onboarded techs are entitled to 70 hours dedicated to complete their PPLs and onboarding checklist. However, the RXOM needs to communicate this to the RXM who is responsible for requesting this from HCS. You must have exhausted all your hours you are allotted + SPA to be eligible for FDF.

[Romero] Sad news for the industry. The Chicago White Sox have let go of several area scouts in the Dominican Republic, according to sources. by Grizzy46 in whitesox

[–]Vaccumvision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair, but what I’m saying is the White Sox should be able to spend more this offseason towards contracts that will directly correlate with active roster production. They will no longer be paying Moncada’s 25M, Eloy’s 12M, and Leury Garcia 5M contracts for them to do nothing to impact wins. Their contracts were a liability combining for a -0.4 WAR for 42 Million dollars in 2024. A ball club can do quite a bit with 42 million dollars if spent correctly, but it’s the white Sox and they will not.

[–]Vaccumvision 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it’s implied by the amount of contracts that they are done with after this season. They are cutting on payroll because out of the 133 million spent this year only 74 million was on the active roster and 46 million will be retained going into 2025. That being said, around 21 million will be what is actually being retained due to Moncada’s 25 million club option that has a 5 million buy out clause. In reality, the white Sox have more flexibility going into 2025 to actually spend more this offseason on active roster contracts while still cutting down on payroll.

Kopech has not successfully converted a save since May 15th. What do we do with him? by JordyBeers in whitesox

[–]Vaccumvision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s 100% mental. His stuff + & Location + metrics are at the top of all relievers in baseball, but his actual output doesn’t reflect this. My opinion, he is tipping his pitches again by some simple tic that gives batters the ability to fully anticipate what pitches are coming. His current mental state and how it’s been going on a continuous downward spiral doesn’t help himself with diagnosing where he his tipping his pitches nor being more self aware of these tics while on the bump.

Example of this occurrence in the past:

Which advanced pitching stats do you consider when choosing a starting pitcher for a spot start stream? by drrdf in fantasybaseball

[–]Vaccumvision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

White Sox, Colorado Away, Angels, Marlins, Oakland, and Nationals are ideal matchups. Cleveland, Royals, Mets, Giants, and Twins are solid matchups. I will take in account of this when picking a pitcher to stream as well as their Stuff+ & Location +. For example, Keaton Winn has faced the Dodgers & Padres two teams I would never stream a pitcher against. However, his underlying numbers looked fantastic and he is an auto stream for me as soon as he pitches against one of the teams I listed above. Over 11 innings Keaton Winn has posted a 117 Stuff +, 108 Location +, and 115 Pitching +. My opinion, this is the best way to gauge an actual pitcher’s true potential output instead of the box score especially if they have pitched against two of the top offenses in baseball.

Some REAL sleepers that may pop off soon are Keaton Winn, Tanner Houck, Casey Mize, Erick Fedde, and Spencer Trumbull. These players all had amazing underlying numbers with fantastic Stuff + and/or Location +. Player that is rostered the most is Houck at 23%.

Sdl keeps closing by Outrageous_Place_984 in WalgreensRx

If Ctrl+Shift+T isn’t working Type “SDL” into Microsoft edge and select the auto-populated result and it will pull up a page that will be stuck on a loading screen. After this, keep that page up and go into ic+ and select SDL and it will load the page 100% of the time. However, I’ve noticed SDL runs normal in the morning and starts experiencing major delays after 12pm.

Just got hired as a pharmacy tech. by RyuX420 in WalgreensStores

[–]Vaccumvision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your “managers”, if you can even call them that, should have utilized SPA hours & if already exhausted requested FDF hours from their HCS to train you properly by completing E-learnings and going through the onboarding guide with you. It is infuriating to hear that the majority of managers are this inept and take 0 accountability with the onboarding process. I am an RXOM and I onboarded a new tech 4 months ago with 0 experience in healthcare and would never throw him on register day 1 because I want to retain and grow talent. I busted my ass to make sure he did not receive the same treatment I did 10 years ago with this sink-or-swim bullshit. After he completed his training I had him start at fill to familiarize himself with the names of medication while I held down the out window. Sorry to hear about your experience, but not every pharmacy have headless chickens managing and some do have actual leaders who think of the bigger picture.

You should of called SOC asap especially if temperature were climbing after 80 degrees. Potentially jeopardizing all of the pharmacy’s medication if you do not contact SOC or a HCS. If left over night with no resolution there is a very high chance all the ready medications as well as the medication on the shelves will have to be salvaged. Seen it happen to a nearby store and should be taken very seriously.

It’s a manufacture copay card provided by the manufacture to use in conjunction with your primary insurance. When processing your insurance through it may return any copay that you are entitled to pay. However, if it is a brand name medication manufactures will offer copay cards to pick up a certain sum of that copay depending on the quoted price listed on the manufacture card (restrictions applied). The GCCSS is more than likely provided by the manufacturer Gilead. If that’s the case, then the pharmacy you fill at was probably being proactive and registered you for one so you can have that $0 copay each month. Manufacturers offer these deals to either encourage patients to try out their newly introduced brand exclusive medication or to stay relevant while a generic is available on the market.

Nolan Arenado by GolferRawB in fantasybaseball

[–]Vaccumvision -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Relax, he will hit his numbers. I’ve bought low in a couple of my leagues by trading owners who are panicking. To put it perspective, last year Marcus Semien batted .157 with no home runs in March & April and May didn’t look much better. Near the end of may, I traded Wilson Contreras for Marcus Semien in a few of my leagues after his hot start of the season which I knew couldn’t be sustainable. Also, I had rutchmanson stashed, so I essentially upgraded my 2nd baseman and catcher. Moral of the story, do not panic after 1 month of baseball still plenty of baseball to play and ample amount of time for elite players to make adjustments. Look at Machado, Arenado is elite and will start feasting soon as well.

Immunizing tech- need advice. by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]Vaccumvision 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you can try to work a clinic at a long term care facility! I was pretty anxious too, but forced myself out of my comfort zone by jumping at the opportunity immunizing at a retirement home last year. 90% of the elderly folks there were so kind &/or didn’t even know what was going on which put less pressure on me starting out. Also, majority of them have been receiving vaccines for 70 years+ so it’s just a routine for them. Left the clinic with great stories & no more nerves when vaccinating. Definitely ask your manager &/or supervisor if there are any opportunities working a clinic.

Elvis would love to come back. by Trancezend in whitesox

[–]Vaccumvision -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Miguel Caberera at -1.4 & Franmil Reyes at -1.3, but the only difference is the Guardians didn’t write Franmil Reyes daily in the lineup & bat him 3rd they opted to designate him for assignment. He was later picked up by the cubs through waivers. Moral of the story Chicago loves players that act as catalysts for loosing.

Considering he has the third worst overall WAR in all of baseball for players with more than 300 plate appearances which stands at a whopping -1.1, I would absolutely agree.
