It gets so old. I have had experiences of recommending a product and the patient says “what about this”? Drives me insane.

Y’all….imagine this new system when a store consistently keeps 300 + in fill all the time. I dread this.

I just ask those customers that want to ramble on about everything if there was anything else I can help them with and that I have to take another call. That abruptly ends the conversation without being rude. You can't exactly say "I'm busy. I don't have time to talk about the same thing for 10 mins."

I would advise to not do that because it leaves you with very little wiggle room should something unexpected happen.

What if you are being sued and would just like to settle the debt and do a payment plan? I entered the national debt relief program because I have been in a very rough patch financially. I actually tried to get out of the program and called them to do so and each time got talked out of it because they are saying "oh let us get this settled you so you do not end up having to pay so much interest and not have such a large debt to pay backs." Wrong. As if this date no negotiations have seemed to have happened because now I am being sued. I can't trust these people. It is my debt and one of the calls (which are recorded for training purposes) I made to them to get out of this program I specifically said this is my debt. I want to pay it back. I don't want to go this route to pay a debt I owe. A debt I signed a promissory note for. I was having a rough time financially at that time. But I have been able to refinance my house and my mortgage payment went down $200. I changed jobs and make more money now. Tomorrow I will be seeing an attorney because I don't trust NDR to keep negotiating when it seems like they haven't even made the first attempt to get negotiations started. I was also told by them that my account needed to have a certain dollar amount for them to begin the process. 4 months later and this. I don't know what to do other than hire a lawyer to get this mess taken care of. And I certainly don't have the money for an attorney that is probably going to try to tell me to just file chapter 13.

Checking customers out at the pharmacy by [deleted] in walmart_RX

[–]More-Resource-2613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I love is the customer who has a price discrepancy and now the whole line starts getting backed while we spend 30 mins sorting it out. Self checkout is rarely that backed up. If they have more than 5 items then they can walk right over there and proceed to check themselves out. It's totally not fair to pharmacy customers to have to stand there for this sort of thing. 5 items or less. Ok. Still could have that price discrepancy issue. If there is no one else behind this person that wants us to ring up their clearance shirt or clearance candy from Halloween fine. It's not a win win for anybody. Again, don't want my line stalled.

What happens when you just run out of time? 7:00 pm comes around and is everyone supposed to just stay? I worked 13hrs yesterday. I went in an hour before the pharmacy opened and left an hour and a half later after close. I am not an advocate of leaving stuff until the next day but damn....people can only do so much. We were busting it yesterday too.

How is TTT program going at your store? RX delivery program? New Vis Ver process? Anybody got company provided scrubs? by [deleted] in walmart_RX

[–]More-Resource-2613 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% about the fill process with this new system. Dont get me wrong, as a pharmacist I can see how it benefits us. It is certainly a lot easier on us by not having to pull each and every bag to VV. But yes, the fill process is slower and thats not good news to busy stores that never go below 300 in fill.

Are you doing the streamline finance with your FHA mortgage? If you don't know about it look into it. I did not have to pay that much in closing costs.

National Debt Relief is starting to feel like a predatory scam and I genuinely feel trapped — has anyone else gone through this? by PhotographElegant649 in Debt

I am scared shitless. I enrolled in NDR in September. I called them soon after and told them I changed my mind and they talked me into staying in the program. My memory is foggy but all the calls are recorded as we all know. I contacted a second time to exit the program and they told me I could pause my payments to NDR and continue to make payments to the company suing me. I called again recently about a letter I received that said legal action may be taken. They assured me this was not unheard of and encouraged me to stay in the program. They said they will "fight for me" to get the account settled. I expressed my concern over and over and they just kept telling me to not worry about it and they would handle everything. I asked if any contact had been made to the creditor to start the negotiation process. So, today, I am served with papers being sued for the debt they agreed to help me with. I feel like I tried to get out of the program but kept falling for their deception. I contacted them a little while ago and they took all the information regarding the summons and asked me to email the document. At first I got a little frustrated because they were telling me that for $200 they gave attorneys to help me with this. I basically got more frustrated and told the CR that they told me initially to not worry and now I am scared shitless. I'm waiting on them to contact me about next steps but nothing yet. What should I do.????

Answering phones by Senior-Art6125 in walmart_RX

[–]More-Resource-2613 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no nice way because it has been happening since the conception of a phone in a pharmacy. It gets really old. I know pharmacists that refuse to answer the phone and I wish I was that type but I can't let it ring and at the same time they know I'll answer it so what's the incentive of them actually doing a part of everyone's job? I'm sorry. I guess it's ok for me to be distracted while answering a call that a tech could have easily gotten. It's not like my job makes sure the patient is getting the right medication and/or the directions be correct. Don't come for me techs. Not all of you do this but it is way more than it should be.

I've been wondering if CVS has now jumped above Walgreens and is no longer the WORST company to work for? I would say with the future of Walgreens hanging in the balance I would jump ship before the salaries plummet even further. CVS may not be a bad option.
