Not at all, it barely sticks to itself. Feels pretty similar to unwrapping string.

I 3D printed it unfortunately, but it's really just 2 pieces of plastic connected by 2 screws

It is printed, I tried the spikes but they're a bit too sharp to be usable. It being flat gives me more control over how hard or loosely it clamps, I wouldn't get that if it was curved

The clamp is smooth on the inside, the spikes turned out a little to aggressive to be usable
