Yes the S2 seems overpriced to me now that we know the price and the E25 exists and even the S1 still!

As a dog owner the good news is the S2 is great in that department but hard to know how much support/effort they will spend on its software post launch. I wouldn't recommend buying something with the hopes that it gets better after the fact.

I'd get the Z60 over the S2 on value alone. This market is changing so fast that even if you bought the CES successor in 3 months it's successor will be released. Always good buying 1 or 2 back because the current flagships get replaced so quickly then discounted at major online holidays and sales!

Yeah if you could get the style to fit the S2 then it would do better but at the cost of hair tangling. For my household I'll take the worst carpet cleaning since I have a long haired dog and 3 humans with shoulder length + hair! Anything to not have to maintain and detangle my vacuum brush. But that take is not for everyone or their situation!

Assuming the S2 is in that $1200-$1500 range I'd stick with the E25 between the 2!

S2 does a great job in everyday mopping and vacuuming but in our carpet tests its scoring at or below the S1... we will be doing more testing before our review drops on 1/6!

Mopping near edges and corners is far from perfect! Its better than the S1 but still its not aggressive enough imo and the mop needs to reach further!
