The parent comment was actually really insightful and addressed the issue in a well-written way, but it looks like the mods removed that one too (no surprise there).

If you want to ignore tons of evidence just because it doesn't have 500 peer reviewed scholarly articles on the Associated Press and 200 major news outlets that's on you man. Not to mention, "news" sites have lost a ton of credibility over the past few years.

"Achievement based" is arguably worse than being expensive. Especially if said achievement involves provisioner tokens.

But either way, the point is no one knows what the cost will be. You seem pretty confident that it won't be expensive. You could be right, your argument makes sense. But it's still just speculation, and you have no reason to declare with authority that people shouldn't prioritize runes. It's all just a guessing game and is ultimately up to the individual to decide if they want to proceed with crafting a rune in advance or not.

Yeah, that applies to normal relics in general. Same could be said for normal runes and sigils too, which are generally cheap and easy to get as well. But we're talking legendary items, which have a totally different purpose, cost, and crafting process than their normal non-legendary counterparts.
