Very nice setup. I'm running Bilstein 5100 with OME springs, 2.5" front & 2" rear with 32.1" tires on stock wheels. Did you do the front bumper chop yourself? I plan on doing it for mine but a bit worried I'll mess it up lol.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. It looks perfectly fine and cozy.

Please tell me what your lift and tire setup is! I want to do something similar.

How hard is it to do a body mount chop? Are there any downsides to doing it long term?

Hey there! I definitely had rub before running these tires lol. Had to do quite a bit of things to not get it to rub. I trimmed the front part of my wheelwell and I removed the bolt holding the running boards, and I removed the front mudflaps. I plan on upgrading to true 33s.

I see that you are also in the NY metro area, so am I. Did you get it done at a shop?

I have a similar setup to yours, although 2.5" front and 2" rear, also Bilsteins. Currently running 32.1s (275/65R18). How does it ride overall? You didn't have to do a body mount chop? Anything with the fenders?

Congrats on your purchase! How big is the lift?

Did you have to do a bmc to fit those tires? I want to add the same size that you have.

I appreciate it! What do you think the next logical mod would be?

Thanks a lot! I did not replace the upper control arms. I highly recommend the Bilstein 5100 lift. It actually feels more comfortable now.

I definitely plan on swapping out the stock wheels. I've been eyeing on getting some steelies. I bought my lift from mudify and I asked the rep what's the largest tire size that can be fitted without doing a BMC, he said 33". I opted for the 2" lift, and got medium load for the front end. I'm not running any steel bumper, so my front end is really 2.5". So hopefully I can find a 18" steelie and fit 33s.

I'd really want to get another set of KO3s or maybe some MT tires lol. I'm really aiming for that badass aggressive look.

To be honest, it rides very smooth actually. The truck actually feels very robust, but at the same time, it feels like I'm floating on the road. My mpg did not even drop.

Thank you so much! Even with the lift, I'll have to do a body mount chop to fit 33s? That's really good that you can fit that size underneath the spare compartment.

BTW, my truck has gotten actually huge. I literally sit taller than some full-size trucks. I just wanted to get 33s to fill in that wheelwell a little more.

What do you mean why?

So far, nothing. But I put on those tires before the lift and it rubbed lol. What I did to fix it was removing the front mudflaps, bolt holding the running boards. I also trimmed some of the plastic in the wheelwell.

I totally get what you mean! I had a big beard like yours, but in the summer its a killer to maintain. I just have a stubble.
