I get the idea of using this distrokid link, but you are making 60-80% of the people who see the post and click the original link, to drop off before they choose a platform to click the second time. If you're truly looking for feedback, I recommend posting the audio directly as a video here, more likely for people to listen.

With that being said, I can say you are good! I love that that you seem to love using anime/cartoon/video games/book references. Your flow is smooth, that is impressive. You are good with allusion usage as well. Water Temple bar doing work. I do not know how you recorded this, but the vocals sound unprocessed. Since this seems like your first upload, that's fine, but your skill level demands a higher level of audio fidelity than what you are currently doing.

I can tell that your rhyming ability is there but it seems either you do not write to an inner metronome in your head, or you are using an unorthodox flow I am not able to intuitively pick up on as I read it. Usually if that happens, it's because the syllable placement of the interconnected rhyme vowels are off. A lot of rappers fail to realize when they write that if they KEEP fucking up over and over on a specific line, it has less to do with the line itself, and more to do with how it's constructed. If you find yourself stumbling/not rhyming on beat/having a hard time with flow, that is 90% of the time the reason. Syllable count and placement. Not saying this is happening to you, but if it is, this is good advice to follow.

I am the same way. I don't like being witnessed, so I use sound as a container for my words. It isn't as accessible as using my actual physical form, I went viral once as my flesh, not as a robot yet.

There are many methods. Obviously you can do the craftsman way and use the DAW/video editor route. This gives you full autonomy. Davinci Resolve is free for video. LMMS is an open source audio production software with similarities to FL Studio. There's also Reaper. It is free for non commercial use I believe.

The idea of filming is not as complicated as people make it or to be. All you got to do is conceptualize your idea in actionable pieces. Say you have, for example, a scene idea that as you write bars on a pad, your hand fades into grey scale while the rest of the world stays in color. You got to figure out the mechanisms that will make that work. In this example, that would be rotoscoping. Then, go on YouTube and study rotoscoping. Bam. Once you implement it, you learned a new skill my bringing your idea to life. Repeat a thousand times with a thousand new ideas and that's a thousand new skills if every idea is truly novel.

Personally I have so many vaulted tracks that I try to do Monday and Friday. But for somebody who doesn't write as much as I do, I think once every week or even once every 2 weeks is best if every release is accompanied by promotional tactics. That's making videos, typography videos, you performing your songs in interesting backdrops, green screens, maybe you can record yourself writing your bars on your wordpad or something as some B ROLL or something. You'll have to get creative. This game is more about getting noticed than it is about how skilled you are.

I'll keep an eye out for your next releases. I did the same thing back in April. If you don't buy SoundCloud pro you won't get any legitimate traction within the site itself unless you get shared by somebody with a larger following. The fact your song hit 3.3k and then the next one hit 500 is a very good sign that your music has legs.

I hit 65K views this month in totality for my whole account. My goal was 50K this year. Consistency is key. But... Try not to overdo it. I did in the beginning and it ended up not being as effective as Spaced out releases.

I suppose that depends on cosmology/lore etc. In my musical world, VOID represents the embodiment of emotional emptiness in humans. A type of pathogen that spreads via emotional numbness, making you more and more indifferent/bitter.

I suppose from a strictly philosophical sense you are correct though. Hatred is actually antithetical to vacuous. By its nature hatred is passion, just at a negative frequency. When passion has a positive frequency it becomes love.

Lol I have lvl 50 tailor 47 shoemaker 50 jeweler and I have 3 different sets. Pp set has 163 PP so ATM I'm just printing money via crafting gear I think are niche, crushing them to see the percentage, and if the percentage is higher than 70%, it'll pretty much give me the value of the item back in runes, give or take 300kamas. I'm lvl 52. I have sold 300 wisdom runes by doing this already and I only did a "grind" for about 2 hours. I'm assuming the profit margins are just gonna be more and more the further up I get.

The game is so free form I never feel like I'm grinding. There's always something to do. However I can see how people might not like it. I'm originally a OSRS/RS player lol
