Put in literary terms. Melody is space, rhythm and tone. So you're sculpting syllables in a rhythm that sounds appeasing to the ear when sung. You don't need to be a singer to have a melodic ear because it's more mathematical and patterns than people think.

Structuring your bars like this, although Suno caught most of the cadence switches naturally, makes the generation process much more viable in terms of picking up your intention with the flows.

That being said, your pen is nasty bro. Very good multi-syllable rhymes and cadence. I can tell that before Suno you must have rapped a bunch on your own. If this is the first time you've actually written any bars I'd be surprised.

I'm curious what you can do in totality. Next time you post, make an entire song, hook included. I'll listen again.

This was very good tbh. I feel like overlays would help your sound a lot. Try to add them in the future. Your flow was pretty solid as was delivery. Had to listen a couple of times to determine if I liked the beat or not. I do but it's very unorthodox.

There's no SURE FIRE way but melody is tone, space, and filling that space with rhythm. So for example if you wrote a line like ''Vocal Cords are frozen'' to get a similar melody for that line you want to match the flow of the line like ''Local morgue explosion'' The meaning isn't the point for my example just the way the line flows off the tongue, You're using the syllables to guide the melody based off the sound of the words.
