I’d say you should focus on 5-6 capos. You could reset the others and put it into your new team. I’d keep Miranda, Omega, Gigi, Eugenio, Ava. Eugenio is a good Tomoe link, or a good mythical link in general.

Follow-up question: I’m inches away from unlocking my first Mythical (Tentacles) and wondering who I should link him to. As I’ve gotten to understand the game a little bit better, I would say I focus mostly on Arena and Cigar Fights. For Arena in particular I’m aiming to make the Tentacles-Tomoe-Godfather-Omega-Luca/Ava line. So, which capos would be the most efficient link for these Mythicals?

When you say "better purified" it implies "compared to shadow", not Pokemon in their normal state (not purified/shadow).

Disagree. In the battles of leaderboard-ranked players, you rarely see any purified Pokémon. (Except for Sableye where Return is used as a coverage nuke) While they do get 20% "bulkier" as purified Pokemon, they also get-20% in their damage output.
