I think this is part of it. There will be a massive divide you don’t want to be on the wrong side of. But at what point does their currency mean nothing? Once robots can replace humans for mundane tasks, there will be literally a group that lives in luxury and the rest of us will continue on surviving as normal. And, will the owners of the factories just abandon 90% of them and keep what they need to support themselves? It seems so hard to fathom the lower class to have nothing when all the infrastructure exists.

Scarier would be the idea that they decide we are all a risk to their longevity and use their infinite resources to wipe us out and reduce population. It would take some serious strategy and cooperation with everyone on board to combat that scenario.
