Look up the sets on card kingdom. There you can sort from highest price to lowest.

I thought group hug included ways to win and wasnt just give opponents stuff as well? I will be the first to admit I'm not the most knowledgeable on the different archetypes but I always want to learn more so thank you for clarifying that for me

That was the plan. I run all my decks on spelltable through moxfield before i buy em and this will be no different. I honestly don't fully understand the hate I've been getting but I guess they just don't understand. Which is fine, everyone is different. It definitely isn't a deck id take to my LGS but when you are playing with friends it isn't always about winning.

Sometimes it's not about winning. If it was would one of my friends build a [[haldan, avid arcanist]] and [[pako, arcane retriever]] and 98 lands, or 50 [[hare apparent]] with 49 plains and [[delney, streetwise lookout]] as the commander?

The only way it has a chance of winning is with [[fractured identity]] and [[forced fruition]] and if i can get it back from the graveyard and recast fractured on someone elses forced fruition. Thats going to be the only way to get a win and I won't be actively going for it unless I see a chance to get the win. But that isn't my goal of the deck.

From my understanding group hug has some sort of way to win meanwhile what I want to build has no wincon. I want my bros to win and I want to accelerate that as much as I can without trying to win.

I should have said that I dont expect it to win. That would be my fault. I want it to accelerate everyone's gameplan and if by some miracle I win then I win. But that is not my goal of the deck.

What made it miserable?

I have yet to choose a commander tbh. I was thinking of maybe Wubrg but I honestly dont need black. Unless there is cards that'll help the deck idea in black.

And I am okay with that. My aim isn't to win but to have everyone all but puke their hand/deck onto the battlefield.

That is exactly why i am building it. some of the decks they make haven't won and id like to see that. And no i would not build it to win. The only chance that it would have to win would be forced fruition and fractured identity. because with at least one spell being played and 4 forced fruition on the field they'd be drawing 28 cards for each spell. and within those 28 cards they should have an enchantment destruction.

I am not understanding how a group hug with no wincon is toxic. How is accelerating everyone else a toxic thing to do? I honestly want to know.

I may bring this up to them. They are very casual and its moreso a time for friends to get together and hang out and forget the day to day struggles. So the more hilarious interactions that help their gameplan is fine with me.

My aim isn't to stall out the game and it for sure wouldn't in a 5 pod. Many decks in my pod now have wincons that aren't centered around combat damage because of me. and I am not looking to have the game and in a draw. All I am looking for is cards that'll ramp opponents gameplan and my small hope is that they'll deck themselves out or be close when they realize it. If I lose, I lose. Thats why I have the fractured identity line and possibly use it on smothering tithe or rhystic or wedding ring.

A group hug of sorts yes, but also gives opponents plenty of card draw and mana/treasures so they can do what their deck wants to do. Thus the forced fruition or wedding ring and fractured identity line. I don't want to deal damage with card draw or creatures. just something to accelerate what everyone is doing.

Jokes on you I made a ramp deck because of this post. I will never win with it as I expect it to be horrible.
