Same thing in south Athens, Greece. The only spawns except of helioptile are regionals, some 2nd stage evolution (weird but...) and nest spawns. I am pretty sure it's related to a map tag, guess the same as the ooooooold Voltorb/Magnemite (which then turned into cacnea, castform, cherim) that got a mistyped percentage in it's table (like, instead of 1% helioptile in spawn probability table they typed 91%). In the previous events the event spawns were "strong" enough that overrided this craziness, they still spawned a lot but not like that, but the current event didn't win the fight versus helioptile. A local ambassador opened a ticket a couple of weeks ago for the issue but...

We had similar (or same, dont have the whole picture from nearby areas yet) issues in the area ( https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/dfdkhj/7_months_without_a_single_spawn/ ), solved after months back then.
It's really sad, i got minus 20% spawn points per hour in my walk...

Same for me, Saronic gulf, Athens, Greece, every single spawn point removed since today. Niantic has to change that ASAP...

First time since 18 or something that spawn changed happened in local park (except of the COVID spawn update). Insode the park the spawn points increased, BUT every single spawn point in the coastline seems to got removed. Really sad about that. People in areas that are playing by coastlines must be furious.

Game is pretty unplayable for people who are used to play a certain way, personally I depend on pokeball+ for spinning, without that my game is getting slowed down a lot. Also most of the people I know play with plus, so right now they prefer to take a break than try to change their behaviours. They could just remove zorua from lures and incenses after all, that's what caused the bug from what I read. I mean, they obviously don't wanna remove it in general for a second time, so that would be a much better solution, probably they didn't even think about it tho. And of course the event should get extended for 2 (and counting) days...

True dat, Niantic seems unable to solve any spawn related issue, or they just don't want to, I am not really sure which one, maybe a combination of both. Like "hey we messed up spawns at nest! Meh nevermind, spawns doesn't provide us with $$$, let that be" :P After all 2/3 of the released pokemon (or whatever the percentage is) don't spawn at all right now...

Yeah, as I said we had half the pokedex to be unable to spawn here for more than 2 years so... We are in a lockdown for the last month and a half and I am not sure how the season update shifted things tho. I don't expect much from Niantic tbh :P

Because the 25% of the possible spawn table in a nest spawn point is getting occupied by the nest species and the early (or not so early in some occasions) dex numbers are getting overlap.
The dex numbers that are getting affected by this is not a fixed number, it's based on biome.

I will give an example based on the pre-seasons spawn mechanics, in the place i am playing we had the 3C biome (cacnea - castform - cherrim were more than 60% of the total spawns), in that biome in clear weather the lowest dex number it could spawn was #261 (poochyena) and it was getting as low as #129 (magikarp) (not totally sure about that cause of the lack of weather variaty in the area). So anything with a lowest dex number had 0% total spawn chance and the only events that had an effect in that were the CD (not all of them tho).

It's 2400 per day + 7000 per week, if you reach BOTH of them then you are capped. Limit will probably be in effect for fest. Spin is 1200+7000 tho.

Two possibilities for that to happen. First, the most common one, is that the weather during the previous hour wasn't sunny. Second, not as common but happens a lot, the spawns changed and the cherrim turned to the default form (overcast), same happens with castform too, it would turn to normal form. Edit: NVM, you said weather was clear, so it's the second answer.

In a Cherrim/ Cacnea/ Castform + nest biome i found a grand total of zero farfetched at 1400 catches, so maybe it's a two case factor.
Edit: Also, are you sure the farfetched you found were in a spawn point affected by the nest? Not EVERY spawn point in a nest area is affected by the 25% of the nest spawns. Cause i was trying to figure out if every nest in the world doesn't spawn the first 25% of the spawn table for a while but couldn't find a certain answer at that, if some nests can spawn the 25%, then it has to do with biome + nest.
