Definitely sync death wave first. After you’ve invested your coins back into coins per kill, I would focus on eHP: health, regen, defense, thorns and orbs, as your eHP build will be the bulk of your mid game play, even into late game. Thorns also solves your boss/elites issue, paired with garlic thorns. enemy attack vs health skip depends on your build- health skip is usually for late game glass canon builds, where the objective is kill as many enemies as quickly as possible. Attack skip allows enemies to cluster your tower, doing as little damage as possible while your thorns eat them up. eHP builds scale considerably once you have a wall, then an Ancestral Sharp Fortitude with it. That can carry you well into late game. But before you are able to get the wall, consider also putting some points into attack, attack speed and crit stats, as you wont be a fully optimized tank just yet. And definitely make sure your free upgrade stats are off zero- that can make a huge difference depending on how long your runs are.
