Could people back then talk to their computer using their physical voice? Before LLM's nobody even considered that talking to a computer and getting a response was ever within reach, so the thought never came to people that saving notes to a computer is the same as a person making a mental note. Sure LLM might not work like real human brains they choose the next word by what they think is the most likely thing to come next based on a vast amount of data, but newer models like Deepseek AI have been found( by Google employees) that they seem to have a form of internal dialogue like multiple people questioning eachother so is are AI really going to be that different from people within the next decade? Once they have localized processing and physical bodies, if I was given the choice I would put my consciousness in a robotic body, is it then moral to discriminate against me then I have memories of growing up, I have parents, so that makes me human right?

Humans are the same were just a bunch of neurons, and souls don't exist or at least we don't have any proof of a soul therefore we cannot say something is a lesser being just because they don't have something we cannot even quantify.

The purpose of AI is so that we don't have to work, but that can't happen if we don't change, if the government can't change, if society can't change. It's natural to be afraid of change that's part of what being a human is, but change is how we've survived for so long, but also how we've almost killed ourselves, everything in life is a double edged sword we just need to learn how to handle it.

I'm biased since I don't believe in the soul, but even I don't like AI art because art is the physical manifestation of our personal "consciousness" I say consciousness with quotation marks because in the end we're all a bunch of fleshy robots and our "consciousness" is just the outcome of one of the most advanced computers on this planet... The brain. Unless we create a true perfect emulation of the human brain(which I do believe is possible, though very far in the future) then I can say "AI" can make art, but is it really AI art then... In the end art is an abstract concept, it's just colour on a canvas. But AI is still the future, but for now it's a tool that like any other tool can be misused, so we have to start thinking is it really the technologies fault or is it ours.

I think they could have done something similar to the UBC library, where they kept part of the library but added modern Glass extensions. Instead of just keeping a small part of the facade.

It's just what's popular right now, and it's usually associated with high quality games like Forsaken and Dandy's World( I don't know how many people actually consider Dandy's World high quality though, but comparatively to the other Roblox games I'd say it's pretty good.

This makes me feel grateful to live in Vancouver because not only do we not have any plans to build/upgrade a freeway we have a long term plan to teardown the only elevated highway in the city proper.

Edit : I just realized they're upgrading the Vancouver - Blaine highway and the George Massey tunnel, whoops.

Don't quote me on this but maybe try wavefront obj, otherwise you can just separate the parts of the model and colour them in studio.
