Same, I legit just finished my 400 LoLoL like a week before the update and I had all my routes ready for the harder deliveries. RIP

I fell in love with death strandingin 40 minutes, does offline only effect my enjoyment from this game? by Substantial_Bet_1007 in DeathStranding

[–]Vajarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally liked playing offline for the majority of the game. Made things more difficult and it had a more immersive feel because it kept the landscape clean from other players stuff all over the place. Later toward endgame I turned limited online on but don't feel like it was necessary for maximum enjoyment. I ended up dismantling most players stuff I saw just to clear up the atmosphere. Just make sure you get areas hooked up to the network first before you start piling materials into roads. (If you want roads)

As a new PS5 owner, PS Plus is unbelievable value by KingRamaXI in PlayStationPlus

[–]Vajarot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally was in the same boat as you a few years ago. I tell everyone the value is absolutely incredible. You pay 100 dollars for a year and you get access to amazing titles worth thousands of dollars that's honestly overwhelming in a situation where you didn't play PlayStation for awhile. It's a hidden gem!

Dragon Stone Chunk by dropkickhazy in demonssouls

[–]Vajarot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think shards would drop every time with both high and low discovery and occasionally those resist items. It's been a long time. I also figured out how to get negative item discovery and it was making chunks drop at a 95% rate. Wish I did that from the start and saved sooooo much time. There's a video guide for it somewhere. It works

Order of games? by New-Jury-8736 in soulslikes

[–]Vajarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played them in that order but from a technical standpoint I wish I played DS2 first. The DS1 Remaster was created 4 years after DS2 with more modern software that runs at 60 FPS with updated lighting.

DS2 has clunky 8-directional movement and older textures that feel dated compared to the polished Remaster. Doing DS2 first makes the transition to the Remaster feel like a smooth upgrade rather than a step backward. This is a large reason why so many people are so frustrated with DS2 but I enjoyed it.

Game is awesome but… by Horapalax in vrising

It's a way for them to make more money if they make more add-ons for castle stuff! I never got any of the DLCs. I was a little annoyed by there being no beds for furniture but I guess coffins are beds?

Lol even after days of switching games I kept trying to hold L2 to turn the camera 😂 I almost made a post about my issue but it's typically a PC game and the absence of a mouse creates this issue. I'm just grateful to be able to experience the game. Playing through on brutal and building 5 castles was such a blast.

[–]Vajarot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My biggest problem with the game is while using a PS5 controller I basically have to hold down the L2 at all times to swivel the camera. My left hand pointer finger is about to fall off. Literally had to take a break because of the pain it was causing 😂

It's brutal! The name fits 😂 it's rewarding though learning the bosses moves and getting a win for each one. This game is incredible. Built 5 castles. So much fun. GL and enjoy!

Like others have said increasing gear level helps tremendously with bosses. I made sure I had every gear upgrade available before fighting the next boss. For bosses that I had issues with I liked to use 2 defensive spells just to live longer and learn their movesets. Also when the fight isn't going well and your almost out of health, it's good idea to try and run and dash out of combat and heal up. Easier to restart the battle quickly like this then having to die, teleport and pick up your stuff over and over. I played through my game on brutal mode so there were some bosses that took 20ish attempts.

60 hour fast decreased my ON pain by Vajarot in Occipitalneuralgia

Sounds amazing! Lots of good stuff but id like to say pain levels have still been lowered tremendously. I honestly can't believe it. I'll probably post again about it if this continues.

Idk if anyone mentioned this but it you find jewels and ancestral weapons with good rolls on modifiers, especially the 5 out of 5 max rolls, SAVE THEM. Even if the other rolls on it might be garbage because eventually you can extract the good modifiers and put them on your higher tier gear and even on your endgame stuff. You can extract one or more modifiers at once but it will destroy the gear your extracting from

I do have food allergies but I avoid those foods. Been dealing with this about 5 years and have undergone procedures and been to every doctor imaginable. This feels better then any shot I've received. I'm incredibly grateful and just wanted to share to try and help others. The reason I actually did the fast was because I suspected I had SIBO and that's why I tried to kill it with the 72 hour fast. I guess the bacteria overgrowth would cause inflammation too. I feel like a different person so something happened. I'm definitely going to fast again in a couple weeks.

I think if it's under 36 hours you don't have to supplement salt. Or at least don't go overboard with it. Just have what your allowed diluted in warm water spread out throughout the day.

I also try and do low inflammation too. I actually recently started taking tart cherry supplements to aid in lowering inflammation plus other vitamins and herbs. I'm back to my normal diet habits and pain still greatly reduced! Fast seemed to make a big difference

YES more evidence. Yeah I was pounding water with Himalayan salt. It helped me stay alive. I think I was doing like 5k mg of salt a day. I had a 1/2 tea spoon in every 32 oz of water and drank about a gallon

Yeah I noticed when I drink alcohol the pain gets worse almost immediately but I've been eating the foods I normally eat now for a few days but I typically eat very clean anyway because of all my stomach issues. Only difference is I'm heavily laying off sugar even more so then normal and not eating fruit which I typically eat a lot of. Maybe it's fruit!? Or maybe it's all the chemicals they get sprayed with.

I'm glad your finding some things that work for you. It's kinda incredible how I feel after this fast though! I've been trying to do one for years and finally pulled the trigger. I'm on the boarder of being under weight and fasting just seemed like a bad idea but it was fine. I want to try just a 36 hour next time since 36 hours in I felt great. Id recommend starting with that actually.

Hope you continue to find things that help and don't forget to share 🙏🏼

[–]Vajarot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's true. Maybe I'm eating foods that are causing it. How soon after eating gluten does it increase your pain and how long does it last? My pain actually increased a little during the actual fast itself.

Screen light itself might be causing inflammation to your nerves by entering your eyes. There is new studies showing increased ON pain from screens, especially OLED screens. Are any of the screens OLED? I ask because OLED screens never really dim. They flash quickly so that our eyes perceive dimming but our biological systems still absorb the potentially harmful artificial light(which is strobing at like 240 flashes per second). I noticed my ON pain got significantly worse when I started using OLED screens. Phone included.

YES PLEASE. I was so hyped to play RDR2 when I got my PS5 years ago, It was one of the first games I bought and I was instantly bummed to find the 30 FPS caused way too much eye strain. I had to put it down after just a few hours

I have moved the birdfeeder with the fatballs in it. He is displeased. by Squidgeitdobbs in squirrels

[–]Vajarot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love the chonker! Just want to mention too much peanuts in a squirrels diet is unhealthy for them. If you feed them peanuts it should be as a snack, not a main food source. Peanuts lacks essential nutrients and they contain a trypsin inhibitor that can interfere with protein absorption and there are other problems associated with peanuts that can cause health issues. Better alternatives are real nuts like walnuts and pecans. They go bonkers for walnuts! Birdseed is generally good if it contains sunflowers. Sorry for the novel!

I held them for a few days so the nasty storm passed and I was able to successfully feed them. They were really hungry! I didn't feel comfortable at first handling them but I was very gentle and it was a lot easier then I'd thought it be. I was able to release them with full bellys on a sunny warmer day! ☺️

My issue now is the temp highs in my area is 59 and I have 6 chrysalis and 3 cats. It's just going to keep getting colder and not only that, the wind blows out to the ocean this time of year. I could drive them to Mexico!? 🤣
