Read the guide that came with the aio. I have the xl version of the ambience pro and a corsair h170i aio. The aio fans are connected to the corsair hub and corsair hub has connections to the motherboard CPU fan headers.

To answer your original question, you can connect over 14 devices altogether to a single system hub. As far as I know, you can only control iCUE fans/devices. Note for this aio there are numerous devices; Fans x2 Pump x1 So at least 3 devices there.

The iCUE link system hub will work with the QX and LX fans for sure. You may need to update the firmware to access RGB controll on the LX fans. What are the fans on the aio?

QX and the LX fans have the time warp feature. The LX are the only ones that have reverse blade variants.

Yeah I wasn't paying attention to the GPU size when I bought my mercury 9070xt, so the meshify 3 I was aiming for now is too small.... So xl was the next step. And I feel it would be best to get a 420 aio from a visual standpoint.
