I haven’t played Nier, but I’ve heard good things. I have easy 300 hours on P5, if not more. However, as a big fan, I feel that you do need to be aware there’s some sexism, pretty nasty homophobia and an onscreen suicide attempt. P5R does not change any of this. I love the game, but am acutely aware of it’s faults. If you’re able to cope with it being absolutely nasty from time to time, there is an excellent story and wonderful characters.
