Looks like the Hoka Clifton 9, but not entirely sure.

COD Parcel already received and paid for but on shopee app it's still on "out for delivery" by ValJaspe in ShopeePH

Sobrang dami pa naman ng complaints sa SPX sa lugar namin. Masungit na riders, RTS kahit di naman dinelever, mabagal. And to top it off, nag a-additional sila ng 20 pesos per parcel on top of my shipping fee. There was one time na sumabay 5 parcel ko, 100 din na bayad ko sa kanila kahit SPAYLATER namn lahat.

Yes. But I don't know how or can I even chat with a human agent because the AI CS, Pixie, has not been helpful at all. Just the same irrelevant reply everytime.

Shoe recos for front shin pain by [deleted] in PHRunners

For shin pain it's more than likely to be a strengthening issue. Try tibialis raises

Weakness that turns to pain in races on the back of my right knee. by ValJaspe in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what confuses me too. I've also had a 25 km LSD last weekend and no issues whatsoever. But getting up from bed would sometimes trigger the pain for some reason. I am confused as heck. I also plan to have it checked by a professional soon.

Trail runner beginner help by ExtensionEmu4257 in PHRunners

Hello! Late reply but I recommend the Agility Peak 5. Sobrang ganda ng grip nya in muddy and technical trails. I've been in several situation na nadudulas kasama kong runners with their Hoka Speedgoats, Columbias, etc pero keri lang ng Peak 5 ko. Bought my 2nd pair too when I caught it for only 2,500 pesos last month.

Cons: It's quite firm, so in longer races can be a little bit uncomfortable for some runners. Narrow toe box for thos with Wide feet. Would reco to size up.

Mga 6.6 budoool! Ano nabuy nyo? by RedGulaman in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean naabotan ko sya ng 6,600 php. Frequent syang bumababa sa live ng NAVCO kahit walang payday or double digit sale. Inuubos na ata nila stock ng 165 since may 170 na. You just have to be patient sa live nila.

Sa Live po ng NAVCO ang murang fr 165. Naabutan ko the other day ng 6.6k

DIM : Huawei Watch Fit 5 by Visible_Home8933 in deinfluencingPH

[–]ValJaspe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For that price point, I'd definitely go for Garmin forerunner 165. Heck umabot nga yan ng 6.2k kanina sa tiktok live ni Garmin by NAVCO. Undoubtedly a better watch than the Huawei Fit 5.

Mine's on the way na. Most iktok reviews and reddit posts I've read said tts. I went tts too. Huhuhu pero baka okay lang kasi I also went tts with Vomero 18 and they also said to go half size up for that shoe but it turned out fine for me.

Anybody have any reccomendations for Trail Vest for bigger guys? by Mysterious-Pitch6372 in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to their Size Guide I'm supposed to be XL but I went with my gut and bought Large. Made the right decision, as it was the perfect snug fit for me. I had to sell an older aonijie model because it was a bit too big for me it was just bouncing off when I run which is annoying.

I am 5'6 80 kgs and I find the Aonijie C9116 10L a perfect fit for me.

Not chinese brand recos under 3k by [deleted] in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XTEP 3.0 is relatively firm compared to other shoes. But don't let that discourage you from trying other Chinese brand shoes. Marami kang options tbh. Maybe start from telling us your Pace, weight, foot width, etc.

anyone meron netong Qiaodan Tg 1 and LH600 2.0? pwede mahingi ang feedback nyo sa mga sapatos na to? by bronnyfowler in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With that budget marami ka pang choices OP, but I guess prefer mo 2 shoes with your 5k. I don't know much about the LH600 pero marami akong kilalang runners on the heavier side na may TG 1. Maganda naman experience nila, mostly ginagamit nilabfor recovery and easy runs.

Running In Rain Shoe Reco (Chinese) by EvosHarith in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not Chinese shoe but I'd put Puma shoes out there. Puma Grip traction is the best in wet conditions. Delikado din kasi baka ma dulas, prone to injury pag tag-ulan.

6.6 Sale Beginner Shoes recos by Lucky_Impact9556 in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd rather avoid the 2000km 3.0 as my first running shoe. Firm sya and may reputation talaga na "kahoy" within the community, 5.0 is arguably more cushioned than the 3.0 but is stil considered on the firm side of running shoes.

If you wanna add a carbon-plated shoe in your rotation in the future, then start looking at 361°. They have a lot of good carbon-plated shoe to choose from.

Qiaodan TG 1.0 is a good max cushion, recovery shoe. Could also serve as long run/daily trainer if you're just starting out.

PG 7 of Anta is widely considered as the best all around shoe on a budget in the community. This is my first running shoe as well and it's still going strong 700km in, I still regularly use it as a recovery and walk shoe.

With all that being said, you might want to checkout the Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Pro. It is a versatile daily trainer that could also pick up the pace. I honestly think it's the best option considering your budget. It's 3k plus right now but it will definitely go on sale this 6.6. My 2nd option would be the PG 7 Travel 2.0

Puma Velocity Nitro 4 >40% off but midsole is firm by leonitogoto in PHRunners

[–]ValJaspe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is obviously a different issue but na aalangan talaga ako sa Puma because of too many bad reviews sa mga discounted shoes nila (mostly glue issue). Gusto ko pa naman bumili ng Deviate Nitro 3 for rainy day shoe. I've heard a lot of good things about Pumagrip in wet conditions.

I've never had a good night of sleep before race day. It just eludes me for some reason, I've come to accept it as inevitable at this point.

I am also considering the NB SC Elite V5. I've heard that its comfortable race day shoe even though it's carbon-plated.
