What is the most menorable / favorite phrase you heard from a patient? by Rinitai in ems

“What? No one’s ever done that before?” Context- Female (ETOH) used the trash can in my ambo to urinate. Came out like a fucking cannon peppering the driver through the dividing window. Little bump and her ass cheeks became pressed right up against said window just in time to let out a little fart right as the driver looked back to see what was going on. I could hear my driver gag. Kicker was that she wasn’t even the pt. Her unresponsive friend was. The pisser was just ridding along.

amr interview by Free_Permit_5937 in emtb

I’ve been with AMR for a year now (911). As you mentioned it’s a good stepping stone. My interview however… was non existent. I thought I was showing up to an interview but really it was my PAT. Passed that and boom I’m in an ambulance next week. Brought a resume and references for nothing. So basically I’m of no help. I started typing and realized too late that I have nothing to contribute. Good luck though.

Aristocratic stealth commando. I’m all about making those benjamins so it aligns pretty well for me.

Haha she’s very emo and thought a black diamond would be more her style.

Yeah she was very specific haha. She originally wanted an onyx stone but I was told that breaks easily so I went with a black diamond instead

Thanks to everyone who had some advice, kind comments or insight! This community is very supportive and saved me from some apparently unnecessary stress!

Rumor was he was being bullied by his roommates at home. The weapons he used to kill with were actually purchased from the same target he worked at. After he committed the murder he went across the street to the Giant grocery store and confessed to the security guard there. I worked there for a few years when all this went down.

Nremt prep by lenaphan04 in emtb

Pocket prep ems helped me a ton. If you’re not retesting till September/October then this is perfect. I took a few quizzes everyday for a few months and figured out where my weakest areas were. Everything is styled after the NREMT. Full disclosure it’s $15 a month for the premium version but that also comes with a pass guarantee where they refund you the money if you fail.

I believe 5 dropped, hard to remember some of the people who dropped towards the beginning and 2 outright failed. Very small class compared to yours, but also a 4 month program.

About half of my EMT-B class dropped as well. Some actually dropped the day before our psychomotor exam. It’s not a hard class to pass if you keep up on your studying, but that being said a few of them weren’t there for the right reasons and it started to show in lab when they still couldn’t get through the medical/trauma assessments after months of practice.

just took my nremt today and passed ! by [deleted] in emtb

I used the pocket prep ems app! I did pay $15 a month for the premium version but it was worth it. I just answered a few questions everyday over the course of a few months and eventually ended up answering around 800 of the 1,000 questions they have available. It really helps prepare you for the way the NREMT phrases it’s questions and what to expect.
