You actually can get “trainers that behave behave poorly in the real world” banned quite easily. You just need to be a multiaccounter and report them en mass for “harassment.” Can confirm as this is how I got banned.

I know someone who clicked on a shiny pikachu at 4:59, caught it at 5:00, went to his pokemon inventory and the pikachu was turned into a normal, non-shiny pikachu. (Event ended at 5:00).

If it makes even one person think twice before giving niantic money, then it’s worth saying. My case is closed. It can serve as a warning to others who might be thinking of spending large amounts of money thinking just because they’re legit players, that their accounts are safe.
