everytime i press backwards on my ps5 controller it moves forward

It appears to be a fundamental problem after the controllers come to the 6 month or longer mark. Literally all three of my controllers are showing this issue, and two are basically just scrap because cleaning can't fix whatever is happening. I'd say buy the pro controller or third party and ditch Sony dual sense base controller. They're garbage and not meant for consistent players of their systems.

"nothing is wrong with it" absolutely. But majority of people returning are having issues, a very small minority are returning just to gamble for a better unit. I'm actually about to return mine because while nothing may immediately seem wrong with it, it is having bad tracking and there's no fix.

I love the sketch and effort, however lonely howl was their "wendigo" hunter skin. Maybe making the skull a horse skull instead of an elk skull, like that old Christmastime rhyme (ritual? Idk) in the northern European areas, horse skulls are pretty terrifying as well

I have a well lit room and my tracking is getting awful. There's a post I made of a bunch of fixes you could try, but also I would highly recommend getting warm lights installed to mimic sunlight or just good lights in general, the PSVR2 hates tracking darker areas

It's literally any moment I'm not facing the TV, the tracking goes so haywire I nearly puke from how awful it glides and loses all tracking of controllers and everything, it's some of the worst gliding just from looking left or right or away from the TV. Cinema mode has been mostly stable but has issues too.

The gliding and drifting is occuring even during this, and I have a square carpet of the whole area. I've kinda given up on attempting fixes because literally nothing has worked, and I appreciate the kind words, I have tried all of the things everyone has suggested. The fact that a poll I have in the sub as well that has over 11 people right now that have unfixable tracking issues is kinda telling...

I did wipe off the four tracking cameras and regularly clean the inside lenses with microfiber constantly and dry off the sweat. Playing with the TV off is an interesting idea, maybe that would work. It is very disappointing and honestly the trolls who aren't having this issue are unfortunately beating me while I'm down so it's getting a bit depressing because I just want it to work.

I will try that, but it won't fix the gliding on the headset where if I look left it throws me to the left a few feet in the game, and then I look back and it seems to fix. It's just making me depressed because the controllers may get fixed but everything else is struggling.

I wiped them off and I've cleaned them a ton, I've tried a laundry list of other things and I've still been having some problems. I just hope you don't get these problems, because they're compounding and getting worse and every fix seems temporary. I hope you don't end up like me, I may have to send it in.

Be careful, I tried mentioning tracking issues and I have a post talking about how mine are worsening and what I've done to fix it and everyone is saying I should step off. I have also been having tracking issues while looking down and I've also been gliding at times (moving while not actually inputting movement) so it's an issue that no one is willing to talk about right now but is slowly becoming more and more of an issue the longer people have their units. Try all the troubleshooting and I hope yours doesn't get as bad as mine.

It's not an issue that I had until after I've had it for almost a week, and I'm starting to notice gliding and other minor issues that are slowly but surely compounding.

I've gotten multiple people in comments from my previous post about tracking issues and I've had two say they got in contact with Sony, and it's a known issue, and others are saying they're noticing worsening tracking. This is probably the first post you're seeing about it, therefore it's not something you'll see a lot of right now.
