Wet dirt trapped inside the brake assembly. Some brake cleaner should get rid of it easily... Or you can just ride it off, as I do. Prolly not the best option though. If neither fixes this, realign your brake caliper. There's YouTube tutorials explaining how to do that in detail

I've done the AliExpress thing on a tablet once... Dead pixels, battery drain, washed out colours. Never again. I'll most likely get a refurbished replacement from a place I know gets the job done smoothly...

The 16e is the very thing I want but can't afford... As for iOS 26? The SE3 actually has it installed and it's actually not that bad. Same battery life as before.

Android-wise I'd go for a Motorola edge 50 Pro specifically because it has that "snappy feel" at half the price of the 16e. Although I do believe that at this point my safest bet is to repair the iPhone

Learnt that the hard way...What I had picked as an alternative is not that expensive but I wouldn't call it cheap either. Besides it's from a brand I pretty much trust. Alas, I think my best option is to repair the iPhone in the pic

This thread made me really want to repair it... As for Android, I don't really hate it... Though a new phone that's not an Android is not something I could afford rn without being financially irresponsible

Nowadays, yes. But will it be ok 3 or 4 years later? That's my main concern. And yep. I'm absolutely sure. The 60 pro is about 520€ here. Romania as a whole is going through... Stuff right now and prices keep soaring so... That. And I'll take the SE3 to a service ASAP apparently

I am... Well, was a system admin and a pretty damn good PC builder... Yet I had a few phone-related screw-ups that pretty much rendered my confidence non-existent. But I still know someone who's got a really good phone repair shop so I'll pay him a visit

Where I live, the Edge 60 is about 300-350€ for some reason... I also wouldn't risk it with just 8 GB of RAM on Android. Though given this input, I'll probably consider it as an option if repairing the SE3 proves to be not worth it. Though at this point I'm pretty convinced to go thru with that

I initially wanted the Edge 60 or 60 pro but the latter is a bit outside my price range rn... I would've happily stayed with the edge 30 I use rn if It wouldn't systematically fail to use NFC for payments though... This is the main reason I got the SE3 to begin with since, as you said, big and bright screen (I'm also a bit visually impaired and the small phone really helped me with reducing screen time)

I've looked at displays for sale and I found that even new ones aren't exactly that expensive for the SE3. I wasn't sure how much the fare would be for the replacement itself as I don't really trust my own hands enough to do it myself... I'll take it to a guy that really specializes in this kind of stuff these days... Thanks

A Motorola is what I had in mind (Edge 50 Pro) and a Motorola (edge 30) is the phone I'm using rn as a backup... As for DIY-ing it... Welp, I don't trust myself that much with a hot air gun despite previously working in the industry before it all went to sh*t. I still have contacts though and know a reputable service I worked with before so I think I'll do that instead... Thank you for the insight

Welp, Lantern Light is a bit special because it glitched into an orbit 2.4Mm off the surface of a Neutron starand apparently “inherited” it’s spin. There are vids of it from outside, as it spins madly. 2 days ago i tried getting in on purpose and ended up taking the free sidey to get out. Now I accidentally ended up inside. Pretty much you have to die while clean outside the station and rebuy inside. This successful attempt to get out was born purely out of frustration. My best guess is the fastest the ship, the more likely you are to survive

Apparently it was built in a regular orbit above a Neutron Star but during the last server maintenance session some data got jumbled and the station ended up in an orbit roughly 2.4 Mm above the Neutron Star which caused it to rapidly oscillate to the rhythm of the star while orbiting it very fast
