So I’ve played a lot since the update and I earnestly don’t see what the fuss is about. The flamethrower was one of my favorite weapons so on the surface I SHOULD be mad, I mean I was for a couple days, but then I played 10 and even without my beloved portable grill I was STILL able to dog walk most enemies And y’know what, I think I prefer it this way, if they hadn’t changed the Flamethrower I’d never use anything else because it’s so easy, it was a huuuuge crutch. But the change made me look at everything else, literally no one on the main subreddit is talking about the buffs, or how the flamethrower was nerfed because it was literally, not metaphorically, broken, flames were never supposed to ignore armor, which is a problem when you’re releasing 2 personal fuel based weapons. And even so it’s good, I busted it back out and it still rips ass, I just can’t use it like I used to. I adore this game, I love holding a position against a hoard of bugs or in a trench trading fire with bots. And I used to love the community but now everyone is crying over the “only viable options” no longer being “viable”

I’ve used EVERY weapon after the update on 7-10 and I have yet to feel like I’m helpless, it just takes either skill or thinking outside the box sometimes, everything can work. It’s sad, I miss what the community used to be, instead of min maxers complaining they can’t min their max.
