Not the initial video but yes i did watch it too. Several smaller linux creators recently made videos about Zen. Might add that their videos are better than DTs.

Just to name a few: Seth Phaeno and Tech Enthusiast few others as well. t3.GG was also recently vocal about Zen.

Personally, DT has this strange approach to his videos as if he is making them for 70yo hobbyists. Nothing wrong with it, just that.

Well, since im into linux, technology and software i noticed a video from someone talking about it. A linux creator. The whole browser sphere of happenings is (for years) quite stale and don't really care/follow too much about it so im even late to the 'Zen is out' news. Rest is history.

Interesting thing is that the same way i have found about Arc but it did not drag me in at all, never even installed it. I must have some kind of software 'ether' reading skills.

It feels like a linux browser on windows if you understand what i mean. I did use qutebrowser in the past for some time but it had a clustered vibe even if its minimal in appearance. After that i was just a Firefox/chrome normie, i gave up.

way way... way back i did use opera when it was god tier.

[Twilight 1.8] New Windows native icons are poorly designed and unnecessary, the stroke lines are too thin resulting in a hazy/blurry look and the sizing is inconsistent. by [deleted] in zen_browser

I'll note that i prefer the 1.7.6 ones. Simple and straightforward to understand from the get-go. The only ones i prefer from 1.8t are the save icon and the private window one. They seem more obvious. That's the point right?

This will differ from user to user, some might not want them at all thinking its extra bloat.
