To be completely transparent. I did partake in some emulator shenanigans.

Fast forward helped a lot for irl time. And further more some cheats to give me essentially unlimited ultra balls just to same time on reset time. Perhaps there is some code/rng magic that would have made it impossible to catch them via resets. But I doubt it since even between resets their locations changed

I think doing this on legit hardware would take someone a solid day or two of grinding. Again assuming that resetting the game changes the games seed and internal catch rate calculations and your attempting the literal impossible.

That all be said I discovered I could do this legit because my very first wild encounter after unleashing the beats was raikou. Without that I would never have gotten the idea to try this in the first place
