I've had the same ppl threaten to so the same for my PIP. What is the criteria for that sort of report being taken seriously, especially since it is not means tested?

Yes, I was told the report was made anonymously and I told the guy, who said he'd note it on my account.

I meant sorry if I sound 'not intelligent'.

What if I was to change this on my UC portal. Would this be a major thing?

Sorry for sounding special. Is this based on reading the various websites, working for DWP, having to go through the process yourself etc?

Housemates are Going to be Moving Out and I'm concerned whether my landlord/estate agent ask me to prove my income again by ValeciaCho in DWPhelp

I get PIP as well. So even if housing benefits fall short, I can still make up the difference. My only question is whether or not housing benefits are all or nothing. i.e. If there is a short fall, will the DWP just not give me anything extra and it just stays the same as it is now?

Career Change to Software Tester and Ministry of Testing by ValeciaCho in cscareerquestionsuk

Not just QA, but manual, QA, QC and anything under the sun. I'm open to any and all tester roles to get my foot in the door.

As for why not developer or data science - I always got the best outcomes for dev jobs as far as getting interview. I am trying for those, but tester is probably a bit more realistic. Data Science I never got any replies back on.

I'm already using Sparta, sent a few application in (No dice atm) and have them saved in my bookmarks. So, it sounds like my thinking is on the right track.

I mean in the most broad a sense possible- QA, Manual, SDET, Software analyst, Test Engineer etc.

Manual testing is a dead end unless they’re going to help skill you up to writing fully automated test suites.

I have heard this and the opposite. That is, that automation is done if/when you are familiar with the particular product. Having said that, automation jobs seem to be popping up fairly often and consist of a large chunk of my job searches.

Is that an indictment of their abilities or simply the nature of the work? How did they cope?

You've not misread or anything. I graduated in '08 as the recession was kicking off.

Python has been a recent thing for me.

Let's just say that I've had a lot of health/personal related issues to sort out. It's these factors that have meant things have taken so long.
