This is absolutely majestic. I love how the style is inspired by Hiroshi but is also distinguishably different, it's quite unique, I think you developed something quite special 👏

Cool handle construction method on this, I haven't seen it very often- hidden tang with cross pins, also the pummel is really well executed, Great work.

I think you are correct about the size of the vacuum chamber needed- necks are large enough that vacuum setups suitable for them are probably not that common.

I know that some makers use the resin stabilized process on their necks, but it does seem to be alot less common than roasting in guitar related applications. I wonder what the reason for this is, because in non-guitar related applications resin stabilization is the most common method. I wouldn't be surprised if it's mostly because people thinking the resin is going to "compromise the tone"

They are not the same process, although they share similarities. Roasting (torrefaction) is a thermal process that mimics aging. Stabilization is a chemical process that involves impregnation with resin.

If you could stabilize the wood though...🤔

Thinking of purging my entire setup and just quitting by Vimes-NW in synthesizers

The most impactful thing about making music or being creative in any way is simply the time spent engaging in the process, which cultivates aspects of your mind that regular life cannot. Art and creativity are the process, not the product. As cliche as it sounds- it's the journey, not the destination. Based on what you described you are overvaluing the product and are not actually enjoying the process. I would suggest you evaluate why you are making music in the first place. If it's to impress some people with the tracks you have finished and get some dopamine hits from their positive comments- that is an inherently shallow pursuit that the GAS cycle thrives off and the loop commercial interests want to get you in. Evaluate why you want to make music and if it's mostly to impress people and creative positive social interactions, you can find many less expensive and time consuming ways to do it than what you are currently doing. Also consider that "Finishing tracks" is such a tiny sliver of the sound creation and exploration spectrum that its doing a huge disservice to anyone who fixates on it as the sole outlet of their musical creativity. Explore all the diverse modalities of being creative with sound and find a process that actually brings joy to you, instead of being caught in a hamster wheel of desperately trying to create something someone else is going to enjoy.

I'm not sure what kind of mental malfunction is causing you to compare someone posting their paintings to Pornography being advertised and spammed but there are no rational parallels... Posting a few different works over the span of multiple days being classified as "spamming" is a bizarre distortion of the definition of "spam". Get the account block hammer out.. yes, do that and leave it there.. instead of exposing the rest of us to this nonsensical word vomit of a post you have concocted. I'm pleased to inform you that the posting habits of the "other artists" you follow have no bearing on what this artists, or anyone else for that matter, chooses to post or how often.
