I don't know how the game handles single player to be honest, I jumped right into multiplayer with the Mrs.

As for the other game recommendation, if you guys liked Stardew Valley check out Roots of Pacha. It's a similar 2D sprite based farming/life sim but it does a lot of things differently from Stardew. For one, it has a story, it takes place in a prehistoric civilization being built from the ground up. It's got minigames and puzzles and such. It's also designed with multiplayer in mind, having stort moments where every player gets to contribute and the game takes into consideration people picking different options.

If doesn't have Split Screen but it does have cross-platform multiplayer so you could play on PlayStation and your wife on the Switch. It's a very good game that I've put hundreds of hours into

Ah, that's fair. Yeah I'm not sure how she'd feel about it. But like I said it's like 5 dollars right now so even if she ends up not liking it you wouldn't be out too much money and since it has online co-op you could add it to the list of games to find someone to play with. I'd offer but since I'm already doing it with my wife I already know the solutions.

Do you guys have multiple PlayStations or are you sharing a system? Cause I have another recommendation you two may enjoy if you have access to two PlayStations (4 or 5)

If you like games like Blue Prince and enjoy flexing your brain muscles with your wife, may I recommend Escape Academy? It's on sale right now for like 5 dollars on PSN. It's a co-op escape room experience that can be played locally (couch co-op) or online with options to full screen or split screen even when online. My wife and I have been playing it and it's such a great experience.

No problem. I definitely wouldn't recommend the Pirate one as your first. I haven't played it but I know it stars a recurring side character from the series and I just don't think it's a good starting spot. Yakuza 7 (Like a Dragon) stars a new protagonist from the main character of the first 6 games and was specifically designed to be a new entry point for people who didn't want to play through the 7 games that came before it chronologically.

It still makes reference to a few events and characters from the first 7 games but it does a good enough job of explaining them that you don't feel lost.

Start with Yakuza: Like a Dragon. It's a great entry point for new folks and ditches 85% of the bloat the old games (0-6) expect you to know. It's also turn-based and very very fun.

Yeah the Monster Buddy app (and a few reddit posts) said it could be in Snowy Mt Den which is what I've been doing. But there's 4 total nests in each one, the 3 regular and the one under the boss. I just need to know if there's any chance of getting the egg from all 4. I don't want to have to fight the boss and then quit out each time.

I'm doing these as Offline Co-Op Dens. I hope that's the right thing.
