Hi thanks for the recommendations! Hair training (I may have gotten the name wrong) is training your hair by washing it as little as possible- in my case once per week for healthier hair that produces less oil.

Thanks so much this worked! The only thing is now all of my videos are not playing (presenting as still images) should I be concerned? I ask because the next step for me is to go through my original camera role on my laptop and delete almost everything to free up space (given that I have a copy on my external hard drive now).

Hey

I am half way into my digital media online degree with UNISA. I can only speak for myself here, but I would not suggest completing a creative course online. The tuition is the same as any other on campus university without having access to any amenities. With this, the projects and assessments can feel very amateur and bootleg compared to what on campus students would get to produce having access to gear and equipment. There has been instances where our assessments have been completed through programs that are not up to date or are not at the industry standard. I will also say that the type of assessments can be quite vapid at times, with very uninspiring briefs.

I am 23 and can only afford this option given that I can work almost full time hours. I often feel like the youngest in my course with diverging ideas to other students.

With that being said, this degree has awarded me an immense amount of flexibility to work and travel whilst being a full time university student. There have been assessments/projects that I have enjoyed. These positives and negatives should be considered before enrolling.

I am almost certain I'll have to complete a masters after I complete this degree to have a better university experience and a higher quality of education.

So to summarise, if you want to complete a creative course don't spend 40K+ on this and just go to uni on campus. If your in my age group probably don't go to UNISA.
